Name: Tyranitar
Type: Rock / Dark
Species: Armor Pokémon
Height: 6′07″ (2.0m)
Weight: 445.3 lbs. (202.0kg)
Interesting Facts: Tyranitar are insolent and selfishly uncaring towards others. They are extremely strong, and their thick, rocky hides give them a good resistance. Because of this, they are always looking forward for a battle, and will not flinch at anything. If enraged, Tyranitar sets off outstanding earthquakes that can completely change the entire landscape, often representing a major headache for cartographers causing them to redraw maps.
THE PAPER MODEL

Depth: 32.1 cm/12.6 in
No. of Pages: 11

NOTES: As long as you take your time, this will be a moderately easy, however time-consuming, model. Be sure to attach the spikes to the body as soon as built. For the final page, the blue diamond-shaped piece isn't necessary, as the place where it attaches is hidden when the two pieces (top and bottom) are combined.

one of my favs but can u make it with closed mouth and more standing up pose
ReplyDeleteAre you able to make it with out the flowers?
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are not included as an accessory.
ReplyDeleteI am building it. Just gotta do 1 more leg and the belly :) Nice build!
ReplyDeleteI hated the teeth, theyre just too tiny..
Hey guys, it's looking great so far but I've kinda become stuck on the black triangular bits; I'm confused as to fold them and stick them. From the picture they look concave, but I can't quite get it... any pointers would be much appreciated. :3
ReplyDeleteThe black triangles are kinds of "holes" in the body so yeah, they are concave, going inside the body. It's easier to glue them if you didnt close the body yet, gluing the triangles as you build the model and not at the end.
ReplyDeleteOpen the pdo in Pepakura Viewer for more info.
Awesome model, i have built it and love it... Only took 19 hours... first paper craft ever didnt realize you didnt have to use stick glue... haha i want to make a huge model of this maybe 2 or 5 times the size. if this is possible please tell me how.
ReplyDeleteThank You
You can. if you use the pdo go into print setings. Im not sure how I did it but now you know you can. Hope this help a little.
ReplyDeletedid this come with a manual? I am stuck with this model and need help
ReplyDeletewhat the crap, how do you guys make this ??? you guys are awesome and you rock and....
ReplyDeletehey, do you know if your supposed to put in counterweights?
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to, but it would be a good idea. It barely stands otherwise.
ReplyDeleteIf you do put weight anywhere, I think the feet would be the best spot.
I wish this actually had a bit of a guide to it, because there are parts that dont seem to make much sense and it's pretty frustrating..
ReplyDeletethe trick to understand this model is to know that it is made on 2 parts, the head/body and the tail/legs, glued on top of each others.
ReplyDeletebeside that, i recommend the pdo as usual, see faq.
I really had fun building this it was so fun i decided to do a shiny one! But on the shiny Tyranitar I think the triangles on are the wrong color. But I was happy just to build this! Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteI just finished and it looks great! Well, not like the one in the photo, but its good enough for me!
ReplyDeleteMake the chibi version, Pleeaaseee.
ReplyDeleteIt would be fantastic :)
