Gallade

Interesting Facts: Gallade have a white lower body that consists of bold rounded hips with strong legs. The torso is thin and colored in a balance between the green of its upper body, and the white of its lower body. Sharp red hornlike protrusions stick out of the chest and back similar to Gardevoir. Gallade's arms are shaped like tonfas, with extendable blades in the elbows. His head resembles a gladiator's helmet, with a white face. Like his counterpart Gardevoir, Gallade has spikes on the sides of his face.
Gallade is male-only, evolving from a male Kirlia when exposed to the Dawn Stone.

NOTES: Build the model following the numbers on the template. This model is really simple to assemble, with the exception of the fingers, which are tiny. In order to glue the crest to the head, first assemble part 40, and glue it on the head. Then assemble part 41, and glue it to both head and part 40. Do not glue parts 40-41 toghether before glueing them to the head, or you'll risk to spill glue onto it.

  6. Why is it in a RAR format?

    ReplyDelete
  7. Because we prefer the .rar compression for files over the .zip one

  10. Will this stand on its own? Does it require a small weight in the feet or a stand/base?

    Thanks.

  11. @ Fendi: We have our own Gardevoir, try it! :D

@ Anonymous: Mine stands. You have to tweak the legs a bit tho. But it tends to topple when there's some wind. You could add a little weight in the feet, to be more sure. Or use a stand for the same purpose!

  12. Well I've nearly finished mine, i left it to close right in the middle of the hips.
I can just place one half on top of the other, but it topples over.
I only have printer paper so its head and left arm overbalance it.
I don't think I'll be able to put a weight in at this point so does anyone have any suggestions?
P.S I sort of dislike the idea of a base *shrugs shoulders*

  13. Normally I'd say close at the feet, but I guess that wouldn't be possible at this point. Do you think you could attach the rest of the body, and then peel back the bottom of the foot a little so that you can put weight in it? It may be a bit tough to manage, but it can be done. Then after you put the weight in, reglue the bottom of the foot.

  14. Worse than no balance has occured. Its whole head cant stay up straight. its neck was too fragile and it lop sides kinda scarily. im gunna try put a bobby pin or something through its head, neck and chest, seeing as i have a small hole between one pair if its spikes and even so, i dont know what would be a good weight to even weigh more than its head. lol
my gallade is a fat head 0.0

  17. Is it ok to use 70gsm paper?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Use whatever paper you're comfortable with. Each has its pros and cons - thicker paper will hold up better, but will also show edges and mistakes more readily, whereas lighter paper will layer better and won't show edges, but will collapse easier.
