NOTES: This is by no means an easy craft. The pieces themselves are not too difficult, but fitting them together in the correct order is the trick. Start at the head and build the body to a point at which you can attach some of the blocks on top, then continue on stopping every so often to add more of the layered blocks. Close at the back, adding the tail fins on when closed. When layering the blocks, be sure to apply some pressure so that they fit snugly, and so that the last one does not hang over the edge. Line up the feet with each other before attaching. It is recommended to put some weight in the tail before closing.

Also, when doing the 'puzzle' for it's back, the order of the parts goes (from front to back) R1-B1-R2-B2-R4*-B3*-R3*-B4-R5-B5-R7*-B6*-R6*-B7-R8-B8-R9-B9-R10.
*=Stacked from bottom up. (First one listed is the bottom, middle is the center, last is the top) These do have to be in that exact order, as each piece is a different size.

  7. Yup, added. I thought it was kinda self explanatory, but I guess I numbered the stacked blocks a little oddly... Just have to keep in mind that R4 goes before R3, and R7 goes before R6.

  15. This... this is a job for the painful-to-work-with 65 lb. cardstock, methinks.
Freaking EPIC, though. Excellent work, Brandon, as usual.

Quick question to anyone who's built this: does Groudon need any added weights to stand properly?

  17. Are there any tips or help to finding the correct place in the mouth for the teeth? The PDO isn't of much help and I'm having a hard time placing them correctly.
BTW awesome model, it's one my favourites.

  18. The biggest help there is the fold lines. Check the lined pdf or pdo, and be sure to fold every fold of the teeth. It should give it a kind of accordion look. After that, just kind of push them into the mouth like dentures. I didn't even glue mine in, they stick after they're pushed far enough.
