Wonderful! One of my favorite Pokemon! Is there any way we can get the surfboard too?

You're welcome!, we really thought we had included it in the file tho. ><

Vaporeon was kind of easy

Isn't there 2 parts missing? on the pepakura viewer it says there should be a bit that connects the top head fin. but on the viewer its floating off the page..... where is this connector bit?

Sometimes the 3D modeling process isn't perfect and occasionally we are left with redundant pieces. These pieces are set aside from the template, but they cannot be completely removed from the .PDO.

However, the templates we release are always perfectly functional, and are always test-build to our satisfaction (see above photo), so just ignore those extra pieces.

i understand what u mean when u say leave the top fins out. You said that they don't need them, but eventually, vaporeon will have a hole in its head, and honestly, whats vaporeon without its head fins?

Just made this recently......honestly i must say......all you guys are my heroes.......i mean, the work put into these models, thinking, designing, building, getting every single tab right......etc......you just bring such joy to us....vaporeon is so very cute!! XD

I'm building the model now and it's great. Thanks guys :D
But Skelekitty, on your comment you said that the models are always perfectly functioning, which is almost always true. But when I built Shiny Celebi, I noticed a piece had been removed that was needed: the part where the neck connects to the body. I had to cut out my own, and that piece wasn't anywhere to be found any place else on the model. Just thought I should bring it to your attention. Otherwise, though, everything has been perfect, and thank you for all the work you put into the models.

top fins are missing 2 parts. why did you move it out of the paper?

I couldn't find 120g paper...
Itls ok to build this model using 180?

180gsm is a little heavy and stiff, but it can be done.

You will find that you will need to work a little harder to pull off small folds in small pieces such as teeth and fingers/toes.

this is SO cool!!!!!

What two pieces are missing from Vaporeon's head fin, because i would really like to make this and its a little frustrating that i can't

Brandon said...

You mean the center one? There aren't technically any missing- just put the tabs from the back inside of the blue piece, and attach that to the head. It can be a little tricky to think about, but once you try it it should work out just fine.

mmm... i've finished the head, but how do i put on the ring? is it meant to just sit there on top? or was i meant to leave some slots for it to slip it? If it's the second case... then... ops... ><

Synia said...

um... i just finished making the head, and is wondering, how do you connect the ring to the head? is it meant to just sit on top? or was i meant to slot the triangular parts into the head?

Brandon said...

When I built it, I just let it sit on top. It fits fairly snugly, so it doesn't really matter.
You can do either way, but I would recommend just building it to rest on top.

this is an awesome model :) thank you for all the hard work and effort you put into it! theres just one little thing that i dont like about it....the head ring is slightly annoying to fix to his head and the tabs kinda make it unnatural-looking...but other than that, great job :)

cute! XD

I am really confused with the top head fin. Two pieces that are off of the .pdo shoulld be used to connect the blue part of the fin to the gol/yellow part, and otherwise it won't attach right. Could you please explain how i am supposed to continue with making my model?

P.S. I love you guy for making these amazing models!^^

I'm stuck at the head fins, and I've done every legendary!

all these pots and comments are very old and seems like nobody has gotten an answer but those 2 parts not in the template are bugging me. i dont want to waste ink and have those parts missing. can you unlock this so i can open it in designer and move the pieces to that blank page on the template? or better yet you guys add it so everyone can easily get it.

Hii, I can't seem to open the pdo file in my Pepakura Viewer 3 that I just downloaded. I can manage to open the charizard file though, not sure why i can't open the vaporeon.
