I recently assembled this model. It does lean towards the left and has a tendancy to fall over.
Most of the weigh is on the hood and upper body. I used a small rock and glass nugget to act as counterweight but still falls over if placed on uneven surface. Maybe a small stand placed on the body might help.
The body does need to be weighted.
I think you might be able to use a base to help it stand.
