I haven't played Black & White yet. :( Is Basculin any good at battling or is it the 5th gen's Magikarp/Feebas? Well, I guess make that Dunsparce since it doesn't evolve in B&W.

Thirteenfury, I have Pokemon Black 1 and in my game Blue Basculin is more common than Red Basculin.
To find one, it's in most water areas, in ripples on the surface.
Must have the HM move Surf to use it though (You get it after a storyline battle so you can't miss it!)
A popular place to look is on Route 17 and 18 (must have Surf and use it on Route 1 on the little lake, it leadas out to the least accessed route.
Basculin does not evolve and it is quite good at battling! It has a few Water type moves, but to get it really good you must train hard because yoiu find it at a very low level (10-15).

Hope this helps thirteenfury!
