do you just stick the antenna on the outside of the body or is there supposed to be a slot where i can put them in?

Juat a quick question. There's a small square on the .pdo file that doesnt seem to get printed out when I print the model. It seems pretty essential to attaching the body to the neck, so Im not sure what to do. I appreciate the help, thanks!!

Brandon said...

Actually, it's not. The triangle included attaches first onto the head, and then drops into the place where that square used to be.

and what about the wing, should I print twice the page of the wings? And how should I put them?

Brandon said...

Nah, no need to print twice. There should be two rectangular pieces, just cut those out and shape them. I made two slits in the back and just inserted them there- so it may help to be able to work inside of the body to secure them.

just a quick question about attaching the head to the body with the triangle shape do the tabs have to go inside the head or can they be glued on the outside of the head as well if not I believe I may have messed up with this model although the head look awesome so far

also when you insert the triangle into the body how far should you insert it and what does it attach to in order to not fall off?

sorry for all the questions

keep up the awesome work your models are amazing

Brandon said...

Well, they could be glued on the outside, but if the tabs aren't colored it would be apparent. It doesn't make a difference other than appearance, really.

When you insert the triangle, it should be glued to the head first, and the triangle should stop at some point when inserting it (the hole is smaller than the widest end of the triangle). I put glue on the body tabs, and then pushed it in until it stopped and it bonded fairly well.

This looks so cute! =3 You guys are AWESOME at paper-crafts!!!

Eragon said...

how do you attach the antenna? do you just glue the flat? thanx, you guys are AWESOME!!!! P.S. im sorta done with the face of the two footer and its big enough to use as a mask!!! :O :P

Brandon said...

Yeah, just use some strong glue on the flat end and press it against the head. You may have to hold it in place until it dries to make sure it stays, since it's pretty heavy.

Eragon said...

Ok, thanks!

Eragon said...

hi again... how do you attatch the big end of the connector triangle to the head? on the pdo it just goes straight through the piece, and i was trying to cut a square on the piece, but the triangle is too big...

Brandon said...

What I did was built and closed the head, then glued the triangle by the tabs to the bottom of it. After building the body, I just slipped the end of the triangle into the hole where the neck would be, and it stops after going in a ways.

Eragon said...

Do you fold the tabs in or out?

Brandon said...

For the tabs that attach to the head? I folded them in, so that they'd be hidden.

ok thanks!
