FERALIGATR

160 / FERALIGATR - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Feraligatr
Type: Water
Species: Big Jaw Pokémon
Height: 2.3 m (7′07″)
Weight: 88.8 kg (195.8 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Feraligatr opens its powerful jaws to intimidate its foes and viciously shakes its head once it clamps down on foes or prey. Because it has difficulty supporting its weight out of the water, it has been known to move on all fours. However, when hunting or fighting, it is agile and fast, due to its powerful hind legs. Feraligatr can rarely be found living near the water's edge.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 17.7 cm / 7.0 in
Width: 21.9 cm / 8.6 in
Depth: 22.6 cm / 8.9 in
Pages: 10
Pieces: 81
Level: Medium-Hard
Designer: PODragon
Photo: Feel free to submit your own at our email and we'll display the best/most creative!
NOTES: Slightly tough, but if you can get past all the "rough skin" patches that are a bit embossed, it can go by quick. Build following the numbers, starting with the mouth and work your way down. Build the arms from the fingers to the shoulders, attach them when you can, and keep working down the body. Attach the tail before starting to work towards the bottom of the feet to close. Use the pedal base to help it stand (and give it some style 😎) Optional microphone included as well.

The horn ends in a cross on the male and a heart-shape in the female. On either side of the horn is a short antenna with a spherical tip. Heracross has oval, yellow eyes. Its forearms have a pair of spikes near the wrists, while its thighs have a single spike each. It has two claws on its hands, and a single long claw on each foot. JUMPLUFF

189 / JUMPLUFF - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Jumpluff
Type: Grass/Flying
Species: Cottonweed Pokémon
Height: 0.8 m (2′07″)
Weight: 6.6 kg (3.0 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Jumpluff drifts on seasonal winds and can use its spores to masterfully maneuver itself around the globe. It will spread spores as it floats around to create offspring. It descends if it encounters cold air currents while it is floating. Though it spends a good amount of time in the air, it is commonly sighted above open temperate grasslands.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 17.0 cm / 6.7 in
Width: 8.9 cm / 3.5 in
Depth: 19.2 cm / 7.6 in
Pages: 4
Pieces: 27
Level: Easy
Designer: Brandon
Photo: Feel free to submit your own at our email and we'll display the best/most creative!
NOTES: This one is actually pretty easy - the main thing you have to worry about is making the puffs stick. To help in this, the body builds from the top down, but the puffs build from the base outward - with this, you can leave the puffs open while pressing them onto the stem and body, and be sure they're stable before closing. Using wire in the 'stems' (17, 21, 25) shouldn't be *needed*, but could certainly be helpful to help support everything.
Close the body at the bottom, and place the feet as desired. They're positioned at the bottom in the pdo, but you could always place them in Jumpluff's iconic hopping/floating position to give it a loftier look.

Attach the feet at the bottom of the body after closing the body.

The tail is strong enough to anchor it to branches and suspend the rest of the body, but at the same time it's delicated enough to eat fruits and manipulate objects. Aipom lives high in the treetops, using its tail for balance as it swings from branch to branch.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 18.1 cm / 7.1 in
Width: 12.8 cm / 5 in
Depth: 16.2 cm / 6.3 in
Pages: 4
Pieces: 39
Level: Medium/Easy
Designer: Brandon
Photo: LuIS
NOTES: Start the model at the fur on the top of the head and close the head at the bottom. It's important to note that all the lines piece 1 should be at least smootly folded, in order to get the right shape. Start the body at the legs and add details, such as tail and arms as you go. The tabs on the legs are a bit weird, but they're like that to give them more strenght. Close the body at the top and glue the head to it after. The feet are the last part you'll glue, make sure they are leveled with the tail, so the model will stand without weight.

MEGA HOUNDOOM (Happy Halloween!)

229 / M Houndoom - Pokémon Papercraft
Name:
M Houndoom
Type: Dark/Fire
Species:  Dark Pokémon
Height: 1.9 m (6'03")
Weight: 49.5 kg (109.1 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: As Mega Houndoom, the ridges on its back thicken, and it gains additional, bone-like rings around the base of its tail. The rings on its tail have small spikes on top, causing them to resemble vertebrae. The ridge at the base of Mega Houndoom's neck is longer and curves forward towards its shoulders. Instead of a band with a skull pendant, there is a large, toothed structure around its neck. This bone-like formation has two large spikes on either side and three pointed teeth on the bottom. Mega Houndoom's horns now point straight up with a small, outward curve in the middle. The two bands on its hind legs have vanished, and those on its forelegs are broken in the front. Its claws are a dark red due to its ability to generate more heat. Finally, the tip of its tail is now split down the middle.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 23.3 cm/9.2 in
Width: 11.3 cm/4.4 in
Depth: 20.5 cm/8.1 in
No. of Pages: 6
No. of Pieces: 87
Level: Hard
Designer: LuIS
Photo: LuIS

NOTES: Start at the mouth and glue the horns as you go. The next step is building the legs, build them from the paws up and glue the nails as you go. The leg bones may not need to be glued, place them and check if they stand. The hardest part of the model is building the bones. The neck one is by far the hardest. Start at the collar and build around it, join the bottom of it and close at the middle, by the back. Glue it only AFTER the bigger back bone is glued. You might have to apply some pressure to the neck collar, to give it the perfect shape. The back bones are hard to close only if you do it at the end, the trick is to build it by segments, I mean, close them while you're still building the top part. Join them to the body as soon as the numbers get to them. Make sure to glue the first piece of each of the rear legs BEFORE gluing the last back bone. I suggest placing the tail bones before building the legs. When you glue the tail doesn't matter, in fact, it may be even better to be glued at the end. Close the model at the rear paws and glue the nails after.

Height: 0.6 m (2'00")
Weight: 5.0 kg (11.0 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Celebi is a dual-type Psychic/Grass Legendary Pokémon. It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon. It serves as the guardian of Ilex Forest and is only able to be caught from the wild in Pokémon Crystal with an event activated by the GS Ball. Celebi is the last Pokémon in the Johto Pokédex and Hoenn Pokédex, although in the latter, Celebi is not shown.

THE PAPER MODEL

Depth: 14.1 cm/5.6 in
No. of Pages: 4
No. of Pieces: 68
Level: Medium
Designer: LuIS
Photo: LuIS

NOTES: The model is divided into two main parts: head and body. Start the head at the face and close at the top. The body starts at the legs and it's closed at the top. Join both parts together by the spike, placing the glue inside the head. Glue the details (such as the antennaes and the wings) after the parts are joined. The antennaes can be kinda tricky to build, but if you get past the first 2 segments at the top, the rest gets easier. You can glue the antennaes before closing the head, to apply presure from the inside. You'll have to weight the model, just before closing the spike at the top of the body, sit the model on the base and put weight litlle by little inside the body and place the head to see when it stand. After it stands, close the body and glue the head to it. The base is simple, start at the top of the trunk and close at the bottom. If you choose to use the leaves and flowers, glue them after the base is built. You can also glue the model to the base.
