SEVIPER

336 / SEVIPER - Pokémon Papercraft
Name:
Seviper
Type: Poison
Species: Fang Snake Pokémon
Height: 2.69 m (8′10″)
Weight: 52.4 kg (115.7 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Seviper are bitter enemies with Zangoose, willing to battle them to the bitter end. It is suggested that this feud has lasted for quite some time. It sharpens its swordlike tail on hard rocks for battle, and may hide in tall grass and strike unwary prey with its venomous fangs. Also, in the most infamous Pokémon Trainer's Choice, Seviper was incorrectly claimed as an evolution of Arbok.

NOTES: It's not an extremely easy one, but so long as you take your time on the curves of the body it shouldn't be too difficult. What I ended up doing was starting at the head, working down the neck, and then back towards the tail. Once I got to the strips that made up the middle sections of the body, I would make the top piece and bottom piece, then wrap it around both of them at once. There could be other ways of doing it, but in my experience this worked well. Then work up to the piece that has the purple band on it, but don't attach anything to it yet. Build the bladed tail separate, then put enough glue into the bottom of the end that it will attach to the purple banded piece, and plop on.

Yeah, Seviper's here! Although I think this poke ended up amazing, it's not on top of my build list yet, so it might take a while to build it... way to go either way!

I remember that Trainer's Choice, claiming Seviper to be related to Arbok! No one caught it, not the writers, editors, dubbers, producers, or even the Pokemon Company. That's just one of those mistakes that never gets old!

Was Seviper your choice for this month's Chinese Zodiac animal? Since there's the Year of the Snake after all...

Love it! However, I've seen images of your bagon and shelgon papercrafts, but I can't find them... :(
