DRIFBLIM

426 / Drifblim - Pokémon Papercraft
Name:
Drifblim
Type:
Ghost/Flying
Species:
Blimp Pokémon
Height: 1.2 m (3'11")
Weight:
15.0 kg (33.1 lbs.)
Interesting Facts:
Drifblim seems to be a living hot air balloon, and can be used for transportation, having the strength to lift people. Unfortunately, like a real hot-air balloon, it goes with the winds, and as such, one cannot control its trajectory. Drifblim is drowsy in daytime, but is carried aloft by the winds in the evening in big groups. When noticed, they suddenly vanish. It evolves from Drifloon starting at level 28.

NOTES: As with Drifloon, the hardest part of this model is the cloud that sits on it's head. In fact, if it were not for this one piece, this would be an "easy" model - we strongly advise that you sit in front of the PDO while constructing this part - because it's reeeeeaally complicated! Alternatively, it has been suggested that if you find this piece too hard, then you could perhaps use a wad of cotton wool, instead.

Once you're done with that part, the rest is a breeze. Finish off the head, attach the cloud with good glue. Attach the belt of the skirt to the bottom of Drifblim, then attach the outside skirt, followed by the inside skirt - ensuring the inside tabs are folded at valley right-angles - then attach the base of the skirt to the inside.

There are two types of legs provided - straight ones that are included in the primary template, or alternatively, outwardly bent legs, which are supplied in a separate PDO. The above photo has both types attached, and you can chose which combination you wish to build.

Also attached are four different faces. To apply these textures in Pepakura Viewer, you go: SETTINGS > TEXTURE SETTINGS > SPECIFY TEXTURE IMAGE > [find the correct texture image supplied by us in the download file] > OPEN > CLOSE. Have fun!
