HOUNDOOM (Halloween Special)

229 / HOUNDOOM - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Houndoom
Type: Dark / Fire
Species: Dark Pokémon
Height: 1.4 m (4′07″)
Weight: 35.0 kg (77.2 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Houndoom's abilities are the same as Houndour's, only stronger. As a matter of fact, legends claim that anyone that gets burned by Houndoom's Fire attacks will never be healed and that Houndoom's howling was once claimed to be the call of the Grim Reaper. Houndoom are generally very protective, alert, headstrong, intelligent, and very focused. They can be overly aggressive, but only to protect themselves, their young, their territory, or their owner. However, when properly trained, they can be extremely loyal, loving, and caring Pokémon, as well as very good pets. It evolves from Houndour starting at level 24.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 17.0 cm/6.7 in
Width: 15.0 cm/ 5.9 in
Depth: 42.0 cm/16.1 in
Pages: 7
Pieces: 75
Level: Medium-Hard
Designer: POdragon
Photo: Skelekitty
NOTES: This model is probably one of the few models that would benefit being built as the lined version, particularly with regards to the horns, teeth, claws, feet, legs, and tail ... well, that's most of it so you may as well do the rest! The teeth need to be folded inside out, otherwise you'll end up with purple teeth, and I don't think that's correct, is it?

A really important tip for this model is to not attach the feet until the very last moment - that way you can ensure that they are flat and the model will stand up. Apart from the above, follow the numbers on the template, re: order of build, and close at the bottom of the legs and the sole of the feet.

Me pueden decir, donde están los pasos para hacer estos muñecos, soy nuevo pero a mi novia le encantan los pokemones y creo que seria muy buen detalle hacerle unos

I decided to leave the blank model in the pack, so that people can see, rotate and print up the non-textured fold lines relatively easily - Houndoom texture is quite dark, it makes line visibility difficult.

im kinda confused.... what order do u build this in?

PAPERPOKES said...

You build this in the order that the pieces are numbered.

Keep in mind that once you build the feet, set them aside to attach to the body, once it is completed.

Just a note that some people have been having some trouble finding this papercraft since the 2nd generation menu with all the pokemon pictures linking to their papercrafts has not been updated yet, so that the houndoom is still shaded blue and clicking on it will not lead them to this page.

It's still on the front page, I don't think people would have trouble finding it. I'll update it next week.

It's true though. some of the pokemon icons on the menu don't work and as a result some of the papercraft disappear from view forever. An example is lucario, I know i've seen it before, but it's not even marked as made

PAPERPOKES said...

Yeah but Lucario wasn't done by us and so it'S not on our list.
