255 / TORCHIC - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Torchic
Type: Fire
Species: Chick Pokémon
Height: 0.4 m (1′04″)
Weight: 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Torchic are small baby birds that are covered in orange and yellow downy feathers. Their wings are underdeveloped and are almost useless aside keeping the Pokémon warm. Their legs and feet however are well developed for running and scratching. They also have a crest on their heads which vaguely resembles a flame. They also possess a flame sac much like other fire Pokémon like Vulpix and Flareon.
THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 16 cm/6.3 in
Width: 8 cm/ 3.14 in
Depth: 11.9 cm/4.7 in
No. of Pages: 3
No. of Pieces: 53
Level: Medium
Designer: Brandon
Photo: Lyrin
NOTES: Follow the numbers on the template in order to build the model. The main body is fairly easy to build, the complicated parts are the wings. I strongly recommend to use the pdo as reference. An alternate solution for the wings is to just use yellow-coloured cotton to make them.

It's much better than mine. But hey, you stole my faqs
Great... now here is one of my favourites... thanks a lot... :)
Hehe Sabi. Yours is good too.
Keep in mind that we always post models about a month after they're built (time to fix things and make template and all, we didnt make on because you made one... well, you know what i mean :\ ) and huh, we stole your faqs? lol, looks pretty much like what we always do :P
It's okay, i stole it from Wikipedia. XD
Hi Sabi. If you mean the "facts" by saying "faqs", I didn't steal anything from you: I always use infos from Bulbapedia. If they're the same, it means you use Bulbapedia too. By the way, this post was written by me one month ago.
lol, yeah we do steal them from Bulbapedia XD
I from Wikipedia, altough i don't know what that "sac" means
never mind what are the next ones? please update the "coming soon"
Awesome job, keep them coming!:)
I have a question.Where do you get the 3-d models from?
Wow, this is an amazing model.
The wings are a bit difficult though. and I can't open the pdo.
torchic is the most amazing pokemon ever and bulbapedia is great to good job everyone
Great! A tip for next time, you don't need so many fold lines on the feet. But otherwise, great job! :)
When I click on ''letter'' it sends me to this page with text like this:
Rar! Ïs
ß’tÀN#"8T ‹/TP; 3) Torchic letter\normal textures\Eyes 2.bmpð ã)¿ˆ_Úéÿ»aÐ †Ž—€Í Àv ¤ „»6éõ ¬¢t ®p¶H¦' »€ ‘
So I don't know what to do, could you help me?
Instead of just clicking it, try Right Clicking it, selecting 'Save as...' and save it with any name, but be sure the extension at the end is .rar. Then go to it where ever it saved on your computer, and open it with Winrar.
Help plz! I thought --- meant valley fold but my model is not right...What does --- mean and am I right in thinking -.-.- s a mountain fold, or is that wrong too?)
Plz reply ASAP
Alternating is valley, consistent is mountain. You got them mixed up
Please help. I can't work out how to do the feet, I tried following the order on the template but I just don't know which bit goes where. Help is seriously appreciated ASAP, but I can wait. THANKS SOOO MUCH!
Is there any chance that you make a life-size version of this model? Otherwise, could unlock it for us to scale it? :) Thak you!!!! I love your work!
Hey Jasper I'm building a life size version now. I just did the math and scaled it up using the pdf.
