POIPOLE

803 / POIPOLE - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Poipole
Type: Poison
Species: Poison Pin Pokémon
Height: 0.6 m (2'00″)
Weight: 1.8 kg (4.0 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Poipole originates from Ultra Megalopolis in Ultra Space, where it is popular as a starter Pokémon. It is capable of understanding human speech after spending enough time with humans. Poipole's large head is filled with a glowing, adhesive poison, which it can fire from the needles on its head. While spraying opponents with this venom, it laughs wildly. The anime reveals that wild Poipole live in nests that resemble wasp or hornet nests alongside Naganadel.

NOTES: Build the head from the bottom up and attach the ear spikes before closing the head with piece 14. For the body build the model from the top down, attaching the arms and legs as you build down. Take particular care with the arms, as they're rather smol. The final step of the model is to build the tail from the body and closing the tail and the model with piece 30, and plop on the tail spike (31) after.

TAPU FINI

788 / TAPU FINI - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Tapu Fini
Type: Water/Fairy
Species: Land Spirit Pokémon
Height: 1.3 m (4′03″)
Weight: 21.2 kg (46.7 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: As the guardian of Poni Island, Tapu Fini can freely manipulate water and gains energy from ocean currents. To avoid harm to itself in battle, it shrouds its surroundings in a mysterious fog that sends its opponents into a self-destructive trance. The guardian also unleashes this fog as a test for those who seek the special water it can create, which is said to purify anything it touches. Many humans have attempted this trial, including those with ill intent; disgusted by this history, Tapu Fini does not care much for humans. Despite this, it is willing to help those who prove themselves worthy.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 30.2 cm / 11.9 in
Width: 23.2 cm / 9.1 in
Depth: 26.7 cm / 10.5 in
Pages: 16
Pieces: 80
Level: Hard
Designer: Brandon
Photo: Feel free to submit your own at our email and we'll display the best/most creative!
NOTES: All of the Tapus are a bit tough, and this one is no exception. If you can get past the spindly hands/arms and the large shell, it's not too awful overall though. Following the numbers, start from the top of the hair and work your way down. Close the hair at the bottom, top with the 'crest' and then continue onto the body. Work from the head down with the body, closing at the bottom of the legless base (this part will attach to the shell later). The head just pushes onto the body via the triangular piece up top. Move onto the arms and shoulders. The flat pieces (39-43,54-58) are the fingernails (purple) and handwebbing (black gray). For the nails, just fold and glue them over on each other (doublesided) and glue to the ends of each of the fingers. For the webbing, fold them over (without gluing) and glue the ends of each to the area at the base between each set of fingers. Images included in download packs to help here too. From here, the shells and bases are the only things left - close the shells at the flat ends (as indicated) on the outside, and close the bases at the bottom.

TAPU BULU

787 / TAPU BULU- Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Tapu Bulu
Type: Grass/Fairy
Species: Land Spirit Pokémon
Height: 1.9 m (6′03″)
Weight: 45.5 kg (100.3 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: This guardian of Ula'ula Island is able to command vegetation to grow and change shape to its will. Despite its fearsome power, it is largely inactive, leading some to consider it a lazy Pokémon. It has a peaceful disposition and does not like to cause unnecessary violence, so it rings the bell on its tail to alert others of its presence. However, it is merciless to those who offend it and it is said to have once repelled thieves from its ruins by.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 29.3 cm / 11.5 in
Width: 12.3 cm / 4.8 in
Depth: 29.9 cm / 11.8 in
Pages: 12
Pieces: 71
Level: Hard
Designer: Brandon
Photo: Feel free to submit your own at our email and we'll display the best/most creative!
NOTES: All of the Tapus are pretty tough, and this one is no exception. Everything on the template is numbered, so be sure to follow those, but it's 'basically' work from the head/hat down. The hat, body, and hands/arms are all separate, so build and assemble as needed. The body builds from the top down, the hat builds from one side to the other, and arms build from the hand to shoulder. Close at the bottom of the bell by inserting the inside of it with the tail tip. The body is rather awkward, so the base might not help all too much unfortunately, but weighting it a bit with the base may help.

TAPU LELE

786 / TAPU LELE- Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Tapu Lele
Type: Psychic/Fairy
Species: Land Spirit Pokémon
Height: 1.2 m (3′11″)
Weight: 18.6 kg (41.0 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: This guardian of Akala Island is known to scatter glowing scales, which affect others by stimulating and healing their bodies; however, these scales are also dangerous if too many are touched at once. Some consider it to be cruel for the way it destroys others as it scatters its scales for its own amusement. An old legend says that Tapu Lele ended a war between Alola's islands by healing the tired warriors with its scales, but rumors point to a more disturbing truth behind this story. Its strength comes from the energy stored within its shell. If Tapu Lele finds itself at a disadvantage in battle, it will prioritize not outright losing as opposed to trying for a decisive victory. It is said to gain energy from the scent of flowers.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 29.0 cm / 11.4 in
Width: 14.2 cm / 5.6 in
Depth: 15.8 cm / 6.2 in

The hat, head, body, and hands are all separate, so build and assemble as needed. The body builds from the bottom up, the head builds from the bottom up, and the hat builds from the inside out- closing at the top. Take particular care with the hair (PDO or EdgeID pdf will help immensely here).

TAPU KOKO

785 / TAPU KOKO- Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Tapu Koko
Type: Electric/Fairy
Species: Land Spirit Pokémon
Height: 1.8 m (5′11″)
Weight: 20.5 kg (45.2 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: This Pokémon is called the guardian deity of Melemele Island. It's known for protecting its home, but it is fickle and will not necessarily help people in need. However, it is very curious, and may come to play or battle with people or Pokémon that interest it. It is able to store electricity by closing itself inside the shells on its arms. It has an explosive temper, but it instantly forgets what enraged it in the first place.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 30.2 cm / 11.9 in
Width: 22.9 cm / 9.0 in
Depth: 24.1 cm / 9.5 in
Pages: 10

NOTES: All of the Tapus are pretty tough, and this one is no exception. Everything on the template is numbered, so be sure to follow those, but it's 'basically' work from the head down. The crest/head can be pretty tough in particular, as they're quite pointed and narrow, so take particular care with those. The head and the body are separate pieces too, and the body needs to be done from the bottom up, attaching the arms and shoulders as you go. Use the bases to help support the body and arms/shell.

GOLISOPOD

768 / GOLISOPOD - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Golisopod
Type: Bug/Water
Species: Hard Scale Pokémon
Height: 2.0 m (6′07″)
Weight: 108.0 kg (238.1 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Golisopod has a shell as tough as diamond and retractable claws that can cleave seawater in two. While it is skillful in battle, it often meditates peacefully deep in seaside caves. It is sometimes accompanied by Wimpod. Golisopod will do anything to win a fight. When it sees an opening to take advantage of, Golisopod will use the small claws on its front legs to finish off its opponent. Grapploct is natural predator or prey of Golispod depending on who wins the fight.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 20.0 cm / 7.9 in
Width: 16.6 cm / 6.5 in
Depth: 24.0 cm / 9.5 in
Pages: 12
Pieces: 89
Level: Hard
Designer: Brandon
Photo: Shiny Golisopod received from Mark B via email!
For this one in particular, please contact us at Paperpokes@gmail.com once you've finished it, to discuss how the weight distribution works too! I imagine Goli needs a base, but I'm not completely sure the best way to approach it.
NOTES: This one is tough, no way around that. It's also slightly indirect - you'll have to finish some parts of the body before starting to attach the armor, but you'll also have to slot in the waist armor before finishing the legs. The numbers on the template guide this, and reflect the slightly sporadic jumping between the appendages and the body. The main goal here is to build from the head down, then attaching the upper armor before moving too far down the waist. The arms and 'feelers' will attach just below the armor, gluing directly to the body on the outside. Ideally the lower hanging arm should also help support some of the weight/angle. From there, move down and completely make the waist armor before slotting it above the legs. Close the body at the leg indicated, and then attach the feet to the closed legs.

TYPE NULL & SILVALLY

772 & 773 / TYPE NULL & SILVALLY- Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Type Null & Silvally
Type: Normal
Species: Synthetic Pokémon
Height: 1.9 (2.3) m (6′03″ [7'07"])
Weight: 120.5 (100.5) kg (265.7 lbs. [221.6])
Interesting Facts: Type: Null is a quadruped, chimeric Pokémon with traits from a variety of creatures. Its head is enclosed in a brown helmet with green markings, designed to suppress its power to stable levels. The helmet has a large jaw piece that wraps around the front with large, round hinges on the side.
Silvally is a quadruped, chimeric Pokémon with traits from a variety of creatures. It has a mammalian head with mechanical parts. Covering most of its head and neck is a thick, silver mane that extends down over its chest. Its blunt snout is metallic on the bridge of its nose and upper jaw.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 26.0 cm / 10.2 in
Width: 18.9 cm / 7.4 in
Depth: 23.9 cm / 9.4 in
Pages: 8 (Silvally)/9 (Null)
Pieces: 93 (Silvally)/111 (Null)
Level: Hard
Designer: Brandon
Photo: Feel free to submit your own at our email and we'll display the best/most creative!
NOTES: Fun fact - Silvally and Type Null actually share the same body, with the head and a few minor features being the only difference. The way this template is set up allows you to build the body as one distinct piece, and swap out the heads if you build in something like a magnet inside the neck on each side.
The template is numbered accordingly as well - Build the back legs and tail first (branching between N28-N33 for Type Null's tail, or S28-S33 for Silvally's. Move forward towards the front legs and neck, closing the body at the neck (piece 64 is where the first magnet would need to go to make the heads swappable). From here it gets way more divergent - the pieces beginning with N are for Type Null's head, and the pieces beginning with S are for Silvally's head. All of the pieces for Silvally's drive change are on the very last page - if you want to print off different pieces for this, all you have to do is change the Eye and Fin textures accordingly and print the last page. The head (and front legs, for that matter) of both of these are definitely the toughest pieces. Each has a decent amount of detail that can make them tricky, probably Type Null a bit more so than Silvally. Take the small pieces slowly and carefully, especially around the eyes and ears. N96 and S87 are the pieces of the neck for Null and Silvally respectively that would need a magnet as well, as they form the inner piece of the 'collar' that ends up attaching to the neck of the body.

For the fin of the body (28-33), if you plan on interchanging between Silvally and Null, I'd suggest building it with Null's pieces (N28-N33) initially and sliding Silvally's over it afterward if desired.

LYCANROC MIDNIGHT (Happy Halloween!)

679 / LYCANROC MIDNIGHT- Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Lycanroc Midnight Form
Type: Rock
Species: Wolf Pokémon
Height: 0.8 m (2′07″)
Weight: 25.0 kg (55.1 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: In its Midnight Form, Lycanroc instead resembles a slouched, bipedal wolf or werewolf. It has short red fur with white on its lower legs, and a white streak that covers its face, underbelly, and tail. It has pointed, button ears with black tips, three large tufts of fur on each side of its face, a triangular black nose, and a mouth full of sharp teeth. While the sclerae, irises, and pupils of its eye are visible, they all glow a pinkish red and no distinctive colors are visible. A mane of fur covers its back and shoulders, sweeping forward over its head to form a crescent moon shape. On either side of its body, just below the shoulders, two small rocks resembling claws poke out of the mane. A single, bigger stone projects out of the front of the mane over its head. Each of this form's paws has three black claws, and it has a stubby tail covered in long fur.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 17.0 cm / 6.7 in
Width: 17.0 cm / 6.7 in
Depth: 9.1 cm / 3.6 in
Pages: 4
Pieces: 99
Level: Medium
Designer: Brandon
Photo: LuIS
NOTES: Start at the top of the head, and work your way down. Be careful with the smaller parts like the ears, teeth, hands. Close at the bottom of the feet. Refer to pdo/edge ID pdf for where things connect. Use the base to allow it to 'stand', as the weight of the fur makes it not stand otherwise.

ROWLET

722 / ROWLET - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Rowlet
Type: Grass/Flying
Species: Grass Quill Pokémon
Height: 0,3 m (1′00″)
Weight: 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Rowlet is a small Pokémon, resembling an owl, with round body and two short legs. It is mainly brown with a white underside and facial disc. It has large black eyes and stubby beak, whose top part is white and the lower is orange. It has two leaves on the chest, arranged in a way so it resembles a bowtie. It also has leaves in the undersides of its wings and the tail. It is capable of rotating the head almost 180 degrees and has excellent night vision. It is able to fly silently and attack with powerful kicks.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 14.5 cm / 5.7 in
Width: 11.5 cm / 4.5 in
Depth: 11.7 cm / 4.6 in
Pages: 4
Pieces: 26
Level: Easy
Designer: Brandon
Photo: LuIS
NOTES: Start at the bottom of the body and close at the top of the head. Glue one feather at each side, starting at the front. The head can be rotated in any position you want, just glue the pieces above the ring composed of 14 and 15 in another position and follow with the rest of the pieces of the top of the head. The bowtie and the beak should be glued before the model is closed. Note that the bowtie doesn't rotate with the head. After building the feet, place them on a flat surface and apply glue to the body where they'll connect. If you want the model to stand like it's on the pdo and the pictures you'll need to place something bellow the tail to keep it still while the glue dries.

MIMIKYU - Happy Halloween!

778 / MIMIKYU - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Mimikyu
Type: Ghost/Fairy
Species: Disguise Pokémon
Height: 0.2 m (0′08″)
Weight: 0.7 kg (1.5 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Mimikyu is a Pokémon whose body is almost entirely hidden under a veil. Its black eyes are visible through holes in the body of its disguise, and the fringe of an amorphous foot or lower body appears to be visible under the hem of its veil. It can extend a black appendage from under its veil. The veil resembles a Pikachu. The cloth is yellow with black tipped ears and the Pikachu face seems to be drawn with crayons. It also carries a small stick that looks like Pikachu's tail. It is always covered by the disguise, rumored because it is weakened by sunlight, so it uses the disguise as protection. It is believed that seeing it's true form can cause a mysterious illness. Mimikyu's disguise is modelled after Pikachu because of the popularity of Pikachu-styled merchandise. This lonely Pokémon thought that this disguise would allow it to make friends with people.

THE PAPER MODEL

Width: 16.3 cm / 6.4 in
Depth: 25.6 cm / 10.0 in
Pages: 4 (5 with the optional hand)
Pieces: 34 (+2 for optional hand)
