TAUROS (Chinese New Year 2021)

128 / TAUROS - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Tauros
Type: Normal
Species: Wild Bull Pokémon
Height: 1.4 m (4′07″)
Weight: 88.4 kg (194.9 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Tauros are rowdy Pokémon; once they've started a rampage they will not stop until they hit something. They increase their will to fight by whipping themselves with their three tails. They live and travel in herds with the herd's protector probably leading the others. Tauros are also known to lock horns with each other in battle and they usually take pride in their battle-scarred horns. When there are no opponents to battle, Tauros will charge at trees to satisfy their need for a challenge and calm themselves. Ash captured thirty of these in EP035, an episode which became banned in multiple countries due to use of guns, leading to confusion for many as to how he obtained them.

METAGROSS

376 / METAGROSS - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Metagross
Type: Steel/Psychic (Iron Leg Pokémon)
Height: 1.6 m (5′03″)
Interesting Facts: Metagross has the appearance of a tremendous, quadrupedal tank-like Pokémon in which each leg could be viewed as the body of a former Beldum, and its head/body as the four collective heads of Beldum used to fuse into it. Metagross has a metallic cross adorning its face formed by its tusks which is said to represent Metagross's wise, computative nature. It evolves from Metang starting at level 45 and is the final form of Beldum.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 18.9 cm/ 7.4 in
Width: 26.1 cm/ 10.3 in
Depth: 29.7 cm/ 11.7 in
Pages: 9
Pieces: 69
Level: Medium
Designer: Brandon
Photo: Brandon
NOTES: Because of its large size, it's not too difficult; just somewhat repetitive. Build the main body not closing the bottom just yet. Build the eyes and glue them on, then build and attach the X. Afterward, start working on the legs. It doesn't matter which is built first, but it's best to work in some pattern. Then attach the legs by the joints, which are somewhat posable (it won't stand if posed too crazily). It will help out a lot if you have some idea of how you're going to position the legs before gluing. Finish by closing the body. I also suggest folding many of the fold lines on the legs somewhat sharply, to give it a 'metal-like' appearance. Use your judgment to determine which look better sharper.

METANG

375 / METANG - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Metang
Type: Steel / Psychic
Species: Iron Claw Pokémon
Height: 1.2 m (3′11″)
Weight: 202.5 kg (446.4 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Metang's body is magnetised, and it uses magnetism to move, communicate, and control its attacks. It is said to be related to Magneton, but Metang's magnetism focuses on Psychic-type moves instead of Electric-type moves. It evolves from Beldum starting at level 20, and evolves into Metagross starting at level 45.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 10.0 cm/ 3.9 in
Width: 21.3 cm/ 8.4 in
Depth: 20.7 cm/ 8.1 in
Pages: 4
Pieces: 31
Level: Easy-Medium
Designer: Brandon
Photo: Brandon
NOTES: Build the main body first, attaching spikes when possible. Do not close the main body just yet. Continue on to the arms, gluing the base of the arm to the body, the shaft to the Beldum-like parts, and then the shaft to the body (in the base of the arm, that should already be on the body). Once all the pieces are attached, then close the main piece by the flat bottom.

BELDUM v2

374 / BELDUM - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Beldum
Type: Steel/Psychic
Species: Iron Ball Pokémon
Height: 0.6 m (2′00″)
Weight: 95.2 kg (209.9 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Beldum is a robotic lifeform that has a long body with a set of claws sticking out of its rear end. It has one large red eye in the center of its nearly-round head, which is set into a ball-and-socket joint at its front end. It has a short crest above its head, projecting from its body. Even though Beldum and its evolved forms are mechanical creatures, they still have emotions, the need to eat and a way of reproducing. Beldum has been said to be related to Magnemite due to the fact that both of them are partially Steel-type that create electromagnetic waves to float in the air, and probably due to the fact that they evolve in a similar fashion, it takes two Beldum to evolve into a Metang and two Metang to evolve into a Metagross.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 9.9 cm/ 3.9 in
Width: 4.0 cm/ 1.6 in
Depth: 4.0 cm/ 1.6 in
Pages: 1
Pieces: 19
Level: Easy-Medium
Designer: Brandon
Photo: Brandon
NOTES: Build from the head down, gluing the head to the main piece and closing the main piece at the bottom. Attach the base to the body to finish. Before closing the base however, attach the claws so that pressure can be exerted on the inside.
It is also in scale with Metang, but neither are the exact scale as Metagross. Keep in mind it is extremely small; it's slightly simpler than v1, but the head can be a bit tougher because of the size.

MEGANIUM

154 / MEGANIUM - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Meganium
Type: Grass
Species: Herb Pokémon
Height: 1.8 m (5′11″)
Weight: 100.5 kg (221.6 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Meganium is a sauropod-like Pokémon. Instead of having a leaf coming out of its head, like its two previous forms, Chikorita and Bayleef, it has two stamen-like protrusions sprouting from the top of its nose, each tipped with its own anther. Also unlike its previous evolutions, its irises are yellow instead of red, and its feet have three toes instead of a single one. The leaves around its neck seem to have sprouted into a large pink flower, with a yellow central pattern and white tips. Meganium has also reverted back to the color it was as a Chikorita, whilst Bayleef's main body color had become a beige-yellow coloration.

Name: Bayleef
Type: Grass

BRONZONG

437 / BRONZONG - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Bronzong
Type: Steel/Psychic
Species: Bronze Bell Pokémon
Height: 1.3 m (4′03″)
Weight: 187.0 kg (412.3 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Bronzong looks like a big blue-green bell with two arms coming out of its sides. It has eyes at the bottom of its hollow body and a yoke attached at the top. Its face can be best described as being of a "Totem Pole" design. It has the power to summon rain clouds which earned it the nickname, bringer of plentiful harvests. It has powerful Psychic powers that enable it to use moves like Confusion, Extrasensory, and Hypnosis. It can also use Steel attacks like Gyro Ball.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 16.2 cm/ 6.4 in
Width: 26.2 cm/ 10.3 in
Depth: 10.3 cm/ 4.1 in
Pages: 5
Pieces: 23
Level: Easy
Designer: Brandon
Photo: Brandon
NOTES: Even though there are some thinner part, this craft is not difficult. Build the larger pieces of the body, and then work up closing the top with the flat light blue piece. Build the 'arms' in order by band, starting at 1 and closing with either side with the large flat pieces. The fit between the arms and body is tight enough so that it stays in place without glue, but you could glue it if you want. Close the entire body with either bottom; either the large, singular flat piece or the slightly more detailed indentation (pictured).

CLAYDOL

344 / CLAYDOL - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Claydol
Type: Ground/Psychic
Species: Clay Doll Pokémon
Height: 1.5 m (4′11″)
Weight: 107.9 kg (238.0 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Claydol has a large black body with two small, stubby legs. Claydol has a wide, rounded head with a protrusion on the top and a remarkable, encircling pattern. The pattern consists of a wavy white frame on its circular pink eyes, each with a dot-like pupil and seemingly alternating expressions on each eye with small, beak-like yellow segments between each eye. Claydol's chest has white ring-like patterns with extensions of the design pointing downward and yellow circles in the middle. Claydol’s cannon-like arms are kept close to its body although their tips can be removed by levitating them with psychic power.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 19.9 cm/ 7.8 in
Width: 13.4 cm/ 5.3 in
Depth: 16.8 cm/ 6.6 in
Pages: 6
Pieces: 49
Level: Medium
Designer: Brandon
Photo: Brandon
NOTES: Build from the top down, attaching the eyes as soon as possible. Attach the arms when possible as well, or use magnets (like I did) to make them removable. Put a small magnet on either side of the body where the arms would rest, and glue either a piece of magnet or metal (like a paperclip) into the arms. Close with the lower back, attaching the feet beforehand.

KLANG & KLINKLANG

600-601 / KLANG & KLINKLANG - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Klang (Gigiaru) & Klinklang (Gigigiaru)
Type: Steel
Species: Gear Pokémon
Height: 0.6 m (2′0″)
Weight: 51.0 - 81.0 kg (112.4 - 178.6 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: By changing the direction in which it rotates, it communicates its feelings to others. When angry, it rotates faster. Its red core functions as an energy tank. It fires the charged energy through its spikes into an area. Klinklang evolves from Klang starting at level 49 and is the final form of Klink.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 15.8 cm / 5.9 in
Width: 17.6 cm / 6.8 in
Depth: 15.2 cm / 5.9 in
Pages: 6
Pieces: 38
Level: Easy
Designer: PMF
Photo: Skeleman

NOTES: Keep in mind that the texture in the picture isn't the one on the file. So the mouth isn't a "star" but a "V". Also, the only difference between Klang and Klinklang is the ring around the base.

The whole model is made of 5 parts and a base. You can find them on the template labeled as "Big Gear", "1 Top Left Gear", "2 Middle Gear" and "3 Bottom Gear".
The "Big Gear" is just 2 faces with a long strip making the side and a structural circle to glue inside.
The first one is a basic "Kling" so build the body and add the nose or not. Glue it on the top left arm of the "Big Gear" or build two to make a real "Kling".
The second one is glued in the middle of the Big Gear with the green bubble on the front. Make sure you can see the mouth and eyes thru it's arms.

The third one is glued right below the second one with the red bubble on top.
The circle is made of three long strips that make each face. You can just use one if you wanna make it easy. Also glue the spikes on every two sides or the circle.
