CAMERUPT

323 / CAMERUPT- Pokémon Papercraft

Species: Eruption Pokémon
Height: 1.9 m (6′03″)
Weight: 220.0 kg (485.0 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Camerupt is a quadrupedal Pokémon that resembles a Bactrian camel. Its body contains amounts of molten lava of 18,000 °F (10,000 °C), which erupts out of its humps if the Pokémon is angered. As shown in the anime, it can become uncontrollably angry when it is struck in the face. It lives in the craters of volcanoes.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 15.0 cm / 5.9 in
Width: 22.7 cm / 8.9 in
Depth: 10.4 cm / 4.1 in
Pages: 7
Pieces: 50
Level: Medium
Designer: Brandon
Photo: Feel free to submit your own at our email and we'll display the best/most creative!
NOTES: The real tricky parts here are the "hair" and the way the feet connect - pay attention there and it should be smooth sailing. Build from the hair and work your way down the face, putting in its teeth once the mouth is fully formed. Work your way to the body starting with the hump, attaching the front legs and the volcanoes on its back before working any farther past the hump. When working with the feet (both front and back) each leg and foot under piece has a matching teal edge - match these up and glue the fur back to back here. The hooves should attach to the flat circular pieces, and the circular pieces match back/back with the fur strands to make a fully formed leg/foot. Keep working back, attaching the tail before closing up the body, and attach and close at the back legs.

It is a small, green Pokémon with a gelatinous body. It has a large, round head with a beak-shaped protrusion on the front, a thin, hook-shaped tail, and a red hexagon suspended in its body. THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 21.9 cm / 8.6 in

Pages: 6
Pieces: 41

Designer: Brandon
Photo: Photo below by Hunter B via email!
Feel free to submit your own at our email and we'll display the best/most creative!
NOTES: Start from the head, work your way back - be careful with the back 'fins' - they're a little thin, and will need to be connected to each other pretty carefully. Once the head and fins are made, it's pretty smooth sailing; just finish the tail, and attach the last 5 pieces to the back of the closed tail. Will likely need weight in the back half of the body/tail to counterbalance the head properly as well.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 17.0 cm/6.7 in
Width: 15.6 cm/6.1 in
Depth: 21.0 cm/8.3 in
No. of Pages: 7
No. of Pieces: 39
Level: Medium-Hard
Designer: Brandon
Photo: LuIS

NOTES: Start by building the head, which apart from the ears is quite easy. Build each piece separately but don't join them all together now, only at the end. The body is simple, just closing it can be a bit harder than usual. You need to reinforce the inside of the arms to hold the claws. Join the wing to the part between the head and torso. After that, glue the torso and the head. Be careful with the position you glue the torso, use the pdo as reference. You can either glue the claws now or proceed to the tail. If you follow the numbers and glue the tail, use the numbers on the pieces as reference. It takes a good time to glue, so if you can use superglue, it gets easier. To join the last segment, place the model on a flat surface, using the semi last segment as a reference and glue the last one keeping the flat surface. Also, make sure to leave the last two segments open, to insert weight and balance it, jut add weight until it stands after the arms are placed. The claws should be joined to the "wrist" before joining it to the arms. Must fold lines are included on the pdo. Note that the model, even after balanced, can fall with wind.

After fainting in a battle, a message will pop up saying that the Marowak's soul has finally moved on to the afterlife.
