DRIFBLIM

426 / Drifblim - Pokémon Papercraft
Name:
Drifblim
Type:
Ghost/Flying
Species:
Blimp Pokémon
Height: 1.2 m (3'11")
Weight:
15.0 kg (33.1 lbs.)
Interesting Facts:
Drifblim seems to be a living hot air balloon, and can be used for transportation, having the strength to lift people. Unfortunately, like a real hot-air balloon, it goes with the winds, and as such, one cannot control its trajectory. Drifblim is drowsy in daytime, but is carried aloft by the winds in the evening in big groups. When noticed, they suddenly vanish. It evolves from Drifloon starting at level 28.

THE PAPER MODEL

Height:
25.0 cm/9.8 in
Width:
18.8 cm/ 7.4 in
Depth:
17.6 cm/6.9 in
No. of Pages:
8
No. of Pieces:
67
Level:
Medium
Designer:

Photo:

NOTES: As with Drifloon, the hardest part of this model is the cloud that sits on it's head. In fact, if it were not for this one piece, this would be an "easy" model - we strongly advise that you sit in front of the PDO while constructing this part - because it's reeeeeaally complicated! Alternatively, it has been suggested that if you find this piece too hard, then you could perhaps use a wad of cotton wool, instead.

Once you're done with that part, the rest is a breeze. Finish off the head, attach the cloud with good glue. Attach the belt of the skirt to the bottom of Drifblim, then attach the outside skirt, followed by the inside skirt - ensuring the inside tabs are folded at valley right-angles - then attach the base of the skirt to the inside.

There are two types of legs provided - straight ones that are included in the primary template, or alternatively, outwardly bent legs, which are supplied in a separate PDO. The above photo has both types attached, and you can chose which combination you wish to build.

Also attached are four different faces. To apply these textures in Pepakura Viewer, you go: SETTINGS > TEXTURE SETTINGS > SPECIFY TEXTURE IMAGE > [find the correct texture image supplied by us in the download file] > OPEN > CLOSE. Have fun!

DRIFLOON

425 / DRIFLOON - Pokémon Papercraft
Name:
Drifloon
Type:
Ghost/Flying
Species:
Balloon Pokémon
Height:
0.4 m (1′04″)
Weight: 1.2 kg (2.6 lbs.)
Interesting Facts:
It is said that Drifloon may be the ghosts of popped balloons, this "X" may be two pieces of tape intended to cover the hole that would have caused the balloon to deflate. A white mass of fluff sits on top of Drifloon's head. Drifloon usually try to grab children in attempts to spirit them away, but these attempts always end up with the Drifloon getting swung around. Being filled with air lets Drifloon either expand or shrink to express its feelings. It evolves into Drifblim starting at level 28.

NOTES: The hardest part of this model is the cloud that sits on it's head.

Finish off the head, attach the cloud with super glue. Construct the outside of the skirt, then the inside, but before connecting these two parts, attach the legs/arms. Using a very sharp craft knife, make two small incisions where they should go between the two sections of the front part of the skirt. Attach these limbs, to the inside of the outer layer, with a tiny spot of super glue, then insert the inner layer into the outer (pre-glued) layer, trimming off excess inner skirt. Now you can attach the hearts to the arms/legs, closing these parts over the ends of the limbs.

We've also included 3 alternate faces: a super happy face, a surprised face and a puffing face, only because these were too cute to be left out! To apply these textures in Pepakura Viewer, you go: SETTINGS > TEXTURE SETTINGS > SPECIFY TEXTURE IMAGE > [find the correct texture image supplied by us in the download file] > OPEN > CLOSE. Enjoy!

CROCONAW

159 / CROCONAW - Pokémon Papercraft
Name:
Croconaw
Type: Water
Species: Big Jaw Pokémon
Height: 1.09 m (3′07″)
Weight: 25.0 kg (55.1 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Although Croconaw has been described as always having forty-eight fangs lining its mouth, only six are discernible, with only four visible when the mouth is closed. They possess an asymmetrical, yellow-colored pattern on their chests that somewhat resembles a spotted animal skin. Once it bites down on something, it won't let go until it loses its fangs. But new fangs grow back quickly. It evolves from Totodile starting at level 18 and evolves into Feraligatr starting at level 30.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 19 cm/ 7.5 in
Width: 12 cm/ 4.7 in
Depth: 16.9 cm/ 6.7 in
Pages: 4
Pieces: 42
Level: Medium
Designer: Brandon

NOTES: Just build from the head down, and it should be a pretty straightforward build. Close at the bottom of either foot, but before closing see if it'll stand without weight. It probably will not, so you will need to add a coin or two into the bottom of one of the feet. Right foot is better, since it would need less to counterbalance it.

BLAZIKEN (4th of July)

257 / BLAZIKEN - Pokémon Papercraft
Name:
Blaziken
Type: Fire/Fighting
Species: Blaze Pokémon
Height: 1.905 m (6'03")
Weight: 52.1 kg (114.6 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Blaziken is mostly red in coloration, with accentuations of beige, yellow, and gray. Blaziken appears to have long, beige-colored, hairlike feathers extending behind its head, continuing downward to envelop some of its chest and abdomen. Blaziken’s small, red-colored face is almost completely covered in feathers. It has a crest on its head with two points, which resembles the letter "V". Blaziken has three spiky extensions on the sides of its face, much like Gardevoir’s. Blaziken’s eyes are semicircular in shape, with yellow scleras and blue irises, and Blaziken's mouth is a hooked beak. The continuation of the "hair" from its head on its chest and abdomen makes Blaziken appear as if it's wearing a sleeveless jacket on its torso. Blaziken’s strong, muscular legs give it immense lower body strength, helping its kicking and jumping abilities. Blaziken has three fingers on each hand, resembling that of a normal chicken’s feet, with what appears to be gray-colored wristband-like markings on its wrists. Blaziken has spur-like claws on the underside of its upper leg, and, although rarely seen due to the shaggy feathers on the bottom of its legs, three clawed toes. It can leap over a skyscraper with a single jump. It can make flames spout from its wrists and ankles, cloaking its feet or fists. The stronger the foe it faces, the more intensely its flames burn. It may also launch a fiery kick at the opponent.
