ALCREMIE-GMAX

869 / ALCREMIE GMAX - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Alcremie Gigantamax
Type: Fairy
Species: Cream Pokémon
Height: 30.0 m (98'05″)
Weight: ??? kg (??? lbs.)
Interesting Facts: In its Gigantamax form, Alcremie's body resembles a towering, five-tiered cake. The apical tier of the cake resembles Alcremie's regular body, though it's wearing a bow and its whipped-cream "hair" is styled into a flamboyant swoop. Each layer of the cake features a variety of sweets that can be used to evolve Milcery. The bottom tier of its body is frosted yellow and adorned with an alternating row of star sweets and dotted frosting. The second tier is frosted pink and features a magenta bow topped with a clover sweet. The third tier is frosted blue and encircled with a row of flower sweets featuring a berry sweet arch. The fourth tier is frosted pink and encircled with love sweets and three red clouds, with the central sweet being larger than the rest. Lumps of whipped cream surround Gigantamax Alcremie's body between each of its tiers.

NOTES: This one is definitely a bit much - don't dive into this unless you're ready to handle all the sweet details and layers that is this massive cake. The bulk of the craft is divided up into several smaller closed parts, allowing it to be built pretty modularly. The general progression here should go Veil -> Bottom Layer -> Bottom Layer Sweets -> 2nd Layer -> 2nd Layer Sweets -> 3rd Layer -> 3rd Layer Sweets -> 4th Layer -> 4th Layer Sweets -> Topper (Body) -> Topper Bow -> Head. The Veil is kind of like the frame of it all, and it builds all up from the bottom once that's intact. It should also help to attach the sweets to each layer before the layer is closed as well - and everything is numbered accordingly to help with that. The "Cream" can really be added to each layer whenever, but it's definitely better to wait until the layers they're between are there. The Cream has been numbered to be at the end for this reason. Beyond that, just follow the numbers, and definitely utilize the PDO in Pepakura if you can help it.

TAPU FINI

788 / TAPU FINI - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Tapu Fini
Type: Water/Fairy
Species: Land Spirit Pokémon
Height: 1.3 m (4′03″)
Weight: 21.2 kg (46.7 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: As the guardian of Poni Island, Tapu Fini can freely manipulate water and gains energy from ocean currents. To avoid harm to itself in battle, it shrouds its surroundings in a mysterious fog that sends its opponents into a self-destructive trance. The guardian also unleashes this fog as a test for those who seek the special water it can create, which is said to purify anything it touches. Many humans have attempted this trial, including those with ill intent; disgusted by this history, Tapu Fini does not care much for humans. Despite this, it is willing to help those who prove themselves worthy.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 30.2 cm / 11.9 in
Width: 23.2 cm / 9.1 in

Level: Hard
Designer: Brandon
Photo: Feel free to submit your own at our email and we'll display the best/most creative!
NOTES: All of the Tapus are a bit tough, and this one is no exception. If you can get past the spindly hands/arms and the large shell, it's not too awful overall though. Following the numbers, start from the top of the hair and work your way down. Close the hair at the bottom, top with the 'crest' and then continue onto the body. Work from the head down with the body, closing at the bottom of the legless base (this part will attach to the shell later). The head just pushes onto the body via the triangular piece up top. Move onto the arms and shoulders. The flat pieces (39-43,54-58) are the fingernails (purple) and handwebbing (black gray). For the nails, just fold and glue them over on each other (doublesided) and glue to the ends of each of the fingers. For the webbing, fold them over (without gluing) and glue the ends of each to the area at the base between each set of fingers. Images included in download packs to help here too. From here, the shells and bases are the only things left - close the shells at the flat ends (as indicated) on the outside, and close the bases at the bottom.

TAPU BULU

787 / TAPU BULU- Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Tapu Bulu
Type: Grass/Fairy
Species: Land Spirit Pokémon
Height: 1.9 m (6′03″)
Weight: 45.5 kg (100.3 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: This guardian of Ula'ula Island is able to command vegetation to grow and change shape to its will. Despite its fearsome power, it is largely inactive, leading some to consider it a lazy Pokémon. It has a peaceful disposition and does not like to cause unnecessary violence, so it rings the bell on its tail to alert others of its presence. However, it is merciless to those who offend it and it is said to have once repelled thieves from its ruins by.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 29.3 cm / 11.5 in
Width: 12.3 cm / 4.8 in

Designer: Brandon
Photo: Feel free to submit your own at our email and we'll display the best/most creative!
NOTES: All of the Tapus are pretty tough, and this one is no exception. Everything on the template is numbered, so be sure to follow those, but it's 'basically' work from the head/hat down. The hat, body, and hands/arms are all separate, so build and assemble as needed. The body builds from the top down, the hat builds from one side to the other, and arms build from the hand to shoulder. Close at the bottom of the bell by inserting the inside of it with the tail tip. The body is rather awkward, so the base might not help all too much unfortunately, but weighting it a bit with the base may help.

TAPU LELE

786 / TAPU LELE- Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Tapu Lele
Type: Psychic/Fairy
Species: Land Spirit Pokémon
Height: 1.2 m (3′11″)
Weight: 18.6 kg (41.0 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: This guardian of Akala Island is known to scatter glowing scales, which affect others by stimulating and healing their bodies; however, these scales are also dangerous if too many are touched at once. Some consider it to be cruel for the way it destroys others as it scatters its scales for its own amusement. An old legend says that Tapu Lele ended a war between Alola's islands by healing the tired warriors with its scales, but rumors point to a more disturbing truth behind this story. Its strength comes from the energy stored within its shell. If Tapu Lele finds itself at a disadvantage in battle, it will prioritize not outright losing as opposed to trying for a decisive victory. It is said to gain energy from the scent of flowers.

THE PAPER MODEL

TAPU KOKO

785 / TAPU KOKO- Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Tapu Koko
Type: Electric/Fairy
Species: Land Spirit Pokémon
Height: 1.8 m (5′11″)
Weight: 20.5 kg (45.2 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: This Pokémon is called the guardian deity of Melemele Island. It's known for protecting its home, but it is fickle and will not necessarily help people in need. However, it is very curious, and may come to play or battle with people or Pokémon that interest it. It is able to store electricity by closing itself inside the shells on its arms. It has an explosive temper, but it instantly forgets what enraged it in the first place.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 30.2 cm / 11.9 in
Width: 22.9 cm / 9.0 in

NOTES: All of the Tapus are pretty tough, and this one is no exception. Everything on the template is numbered, so be sure to follow those, but it's 'basically' work from the head down. The crest/head can be pretty tough in particular, as they're quite pointed and narrow, so take particular care with those. The head and the body are separate pieces too, and the body needs to be done from the bottom up, attaching the arms and shoulders as you go. Use the bases to help support the body and arms/shell.

WHIMSICOTT

547 / WHIMSICOTT- Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Whimsicott
Type: Grass/Fairy
Species: Windveiled Pokémon
Height: 0.7 m (2′04″)
Weight: 6.6 kg (14.6 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Whimsicott can manipulate its body to pass through cracks, no matter how narrow. It takes advantage of this ability as a notorious prankster, moving things and leaving cotton balls behind. However, should it get wet, it will be too heavy to move and answer for its pranks. Despite weighing 14.6 lbs (6.6 kg), Whimsicott appears capable of "riding upon the wind" but whether this means they actually generate whirlwinds themselves or get carried by wind currents remains unclear. Whimsicott likes to spend time in the sunlight in order to grow its cotton, though it will tear off and scatter the cotton should it start to build up too much.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 17.3 cm / 6.8 in
Width: 15.2 cm / 6.0 in
Depth: 19.6 cm / 7.7 in
Pages: 7
Pieces: 40
Level: Medium
Designer: Brandon
Photo: Feel free to submit your own at our email and we'll display the best/most creative!
Current Photo (below): from Rakogis via email! Photo (above) from Kaya via email!
NOTES: Some of the pieces might be a little tricky, especially since the "cotton" of the body is somewhat circular, but the separate pieces should help with getting things just right before pulling everything together. Make the cotton main piece of the body first, gluing the small little cotton tufts around it on the outside as you go. Close this piece with the large flat piece of the front, attaching it to the top first and laying it down towards the bottom to close. The body that attaches to the cotton is a little complicated, but easy to work with since its open backed - the open back will glue to the cotton when done. Make the 2 pieces of the body, glue them together, glue them to the cotton and then attach the collar.

It can extend a black appendage from under its veil. The veil resembles a Pikachu. The cloth is yellow with black tipped ears and the Pikachu face seems to be drawn with crayons. It also carries a small stick that looks like Pikachu's tail. It is always covered by the disguise, rumored because it is weakened by sunlight, so it uses the disguise as protection. It is believed that seeing it's true form can cause a mysterious illness. Mimikyu's disguise is modelled after Pikachu because of the popularity of Pikachu-styled merchandise. This lonely Pokémon thought that this disguise would allow it to make friends with people.

No. of Pieces: 75
Level: Medium
Designer: Brandon
Photo: LuIS
NOTES: Start the model at the top of the head, follow the numbers and the istructions and close at the tail. The only part that can offer some trouble on this one is joining the wings with the body, since they are quite big. If you glue the two first chest pieces to it, will make it easier. It stands on it's own, just be careful while placing the feet so they match the pdo and the picture. If it won't stand, add some weight, there should be an opening, since the tail should be only glued after it's standing. To finish it, glue the feathers.

About the wings, up until a point (12), the build with both the wings is the same, after that, if you want the wings as shown on the picture, follow the red numbers, if you want the ones as shown on the pdo, use the black numbers.
