SIGILYPH

561 / SIGILYPH - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Sigilyph
Type: Psychic/Flying
Species: Avianoid Pokémon
Height: 1.4 m (4′07″)
Weight: 14.0 kg (30.9 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Sigilyph will use its psychic powers to attack anyone who invades its territory. Due to it retaining memories from when it guarded an ancient city or served as the guardians' emissaries, it apparently flies along the same route constantly.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 24.2 cm / 9.5 in
Width: 7.3 cm / 2.9 in
Depth: 23.2 cm / 9.1 in
Pages: 3
Pieces: 50
Level: Medium
Designer: Brandon
Photo: Feel free to submit your own at our email and we'll display the best/most creative!
NOTES: Pretty easy one overall- build from the antennae down, attaching spikes and antennae as you go. The bottom antennae are its own, self enclosed piece to make it easier to close at the bottom of the body with the inverted triangle, and then insert the antennae's triangle into the bottom. It will almost certainly need a base or hung up in some way.

MOLTRES

146 / MOLTRES - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Moltres
Type: Fire/Flying
Species:  Flame Pokémon
Height: 2.0 m (6'07″)
Weight: 60.0 kg (132.3 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Moltres sheds embers with every flap of its wings, creating a brilliant flash of flames. By dipping itself into the magma of an active volcano, this Pokémon can heal itself. It migrates to the south with the coming of spring and is said to bring an early springtime to cold lands. There have been stories of Moltres using its wings to assist those lost in the mountains. Moltres is rarely seen. In the past, Sky Attack was its signature move.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 14.9 cm/ 5.5 in
Width: 38.1 cm/ 6.3 in
Depth: 23.5 cm/ 5.1 in
Pages: 6
Pieces: 77
Level: Hard
Designer: Brandon
Photo: CrafterWong (CrafterWong's Site can be found here!)
NOTES: Build the model from the head and head flame downwards. When you get to the wings, build them and attach them to the body before moving on. When building the wings, build the entire yellow part first, folding the "feathery" edges to give it a slight sharpness and help support the fire/body. Then build the red part of the flame by gluing the white side of the paper together and trimming the excess white part off the model to your desire. If you're feeling fancy, you could even sort of feather the flame piece to give it a bit of definition too. Lastly, glue the red flames inside the yellow wing 'sleeve' and freehand glue them together. Work your way down until you get to the legs. Do NOT close the model with piece 69 until the model can stand by itself. Next, build the legs and tail flame (you can just simply attach this to the body whenever). When building the legs be very careful while building it. They are somewhat small and a toothpick or tweezers will help to make them. To get the model to stand by itself, wrap the wings around the body so that it prevents it from falling on itself.

Also fun side note - noticed when making textures for this that Moltres occasionally has a red beak and legs instead of the pale apricot color. Textures are included for both.

BRAVIARY

628 / BRAVIARY - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Braviary
Type: Normal/Flying
Species:  Valiant Pokémon
Height: 1.5 m (4'11″)
Weight: 41.0 kg (90.4 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Braviary is extremely aggressive, but for noble reasons. It will fight fiercely to help and protect its friends. Even if it is injured or has its life threatened, it will still fight. The more scars it has on its front, the more respect it gets from its peers. Scars on its back will bring it ridicule however. It has earned the nickname "hero of the skies" due to its extreme dedication for its friends. Aiding its valiance, Braviary is extremely strong, capable of lifting a car and flying with it.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 21.5 cm/ 8.5 in
Width: 23.7 cm/ 9.3 in
Depth: 23.1 cm/ 9.1 in
Pages: 10 (+4 for Nest base)
Pieces: 89 (+6 for base)
Level: Medium
Designer: Brandon
Photo: CrafterWong (CrafterWong's Site, and Chibi Braviary, can be found here!)
NOTES: Start building the model with the hair and neck feathers, then work from the beak and work backward to the neck. Make sure to FOLD all the lines for this section when building the hair, similar to Rufflet. When building the top white and red feathers on the face, you will need to glue the non-colored sides to each other to connect the neck feathers to the face feathers. For the side of the face feathers you will need to glue them over onto each other (pieces 18-23 will fold in half and glue to each other), and then glue them to the side of the face accordingly. Work downwards and build and attach the wings when you get there. When you get to piece 55, 84, and 85, make sure to also fold these pieces to get cleaner looking legs. Build the legs and attach them before connecting the rest of the body. Close the model with piece 85 on the right or left leg respectively, then glue the tail feathers between the legs and pieces 78-82. In order to get the model to stand, you can either build the stand and place a counterweight on the stand like another model or you can create a tripod with the two legs and piece 80.

The base (not pictured) is a little different and unique for this model - it's designed to cater to Braviary's specific pose, and the 'empty' nest doesn't have to be all too empty if you build Rufflet with it! Rufflet is to scale with Braviary, and stands right inside the nest. In order for the base to fully hold up Braviary, it's suggested to weight piece 91 before fully closing it, as this will help prevent Braviary from sliding away.

RUFFLET

627 / RUFFLET- Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Rufflet
Type: Normal/Flying
Species:  Eaglet Pokémon
Height: 0.5 m (1'08″)
Weight: 10.5 kg (23.1 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: The thick, black talons on Rufflet's feet are strong enough to break even the hardest of berries, and crack Shellder to consume their insides. It is extremely aggressive from birth and knowingly provokes opponents larger and more powerful than itself, including its own parent to gain acceptance. It sees this as a means of quickly getting stronger.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 12.0 cm/ 4.7 in
Width: 10.1 cm/ 4.0 in
Depth: 12.7 cm/ 5.0 in
Pages: 5
Pieces: 67
Level: Medium
Designer: Brandon
Photo: CrafterWong (CrafterWong's Site, and Chibi Rufflet, can be found here!)
NOTES: First build the head. After that, build the feathers around the head. These feathers are 2d and you MUST fold all the lines in order to get the feathers to look good. When building the feathers, build them in the order from the face to the back of the head. You will need to free hand glue them to the head and do not worry if you do not use all of them. Just make sure that it covers the entire head. Continue working downwards attaching the wings as you go. When making the wings, build the wings and only attach the inside part of the feather to the wing before cutting out the entire feathers (picture included in packs for visual). Attach the head and neck feathers to the body prior to closing the model with the right or left leg. Glue the feet on to the model and let it dry the way you want the model to stand. And with that, I hope you enjoy building and stay tuned!

CORVIKNIGHT - Happy Thanksgiving!

823 / CORVIKNIGHT - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Corviknight
Type: Flying/Steel
Species: Raven Pokémon
Height: 2.2 m (7'03″)
Weight: 75.0 kg (165.3 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Corviknight is said to be the strongest bird Pokémon in the Galar region, being able to scare off any Pokémon that tries to challenge it. Due to its intelligence and flying skills, Corviknight serves a company called Galar Taxi, where it transports people from one location to another. Corviknight preys on Bunnelby. It has violent territorial clashes with Skarmory.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 19.0 cm / 7.5 in
Width: 45.2 cm / 17.8 in (This is the raised wings)
Depth: 23.9 cm / 9.4 in
Pages: 16 (No need to print last page)
Pieces: 98 (Raised Wings)/92 (Closed wings, pictured)
Level: Medium
Designer: Brandon
Photo: CrafterWong
Chibi Corviknight pictured can also be found here!
NOTES: Build the model from the head down and attach the wings and legs when you get to the noted locations (further notes on last page, no need to print that). For the wings use the small dent, from part 23 and 24 to guide the wing placement. Be sure to build both/either set of wings from the tip upward as well, per numbers. Make sure the legs are attached and a small weight, I used two eraser caps, is put inside the model before closing the model. If you end up building the raised wings, it's also worthwhile to reinforce the joints for them on the inside (I would usually use scrap paper for that).

JUMPLUFF

189 / JUMPLUFF - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Jumpluff
Type: Grass/Flying
Species: Cottonweed Pokémon
Height: 0.8 m (2′07″)
Weight: 6.6 kg (3.0 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Jumpluff drifts on seasonal winds and can use its spores to masterfully maneuver itself around the globe. It will spread spores as it floats around to create offspring. It descends if it encounters cold air currents while it is floating. Though it spends a good amount of time in the air, it is commonly sighted above open temperate grasslands.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 17.0 cm / 6.7 in
Width: 8.9 cm / 3.5 in
Depth: 19.2 cm / 7.6 in
Pages: 4
Pieces: 27
Level: Easy
Designer: Brandon
Photo: Feel free to submit your own at our email and we'll display the best/most creative!
NOTES: This one is actually pretty easy - the main thing you have to worry about is making the puffs stick. To help in this, the body builds from the top down, but the puffs build from the base outward - with this, you can leave the puffs open while pressing them onto the stem and body, and be sure they're stable before closing. Using wire in the 'stems' (17, 21, 25) shouldn't be *needed*, but could certainly be helpful to help support everything.
Close the body at the bottom, and place the feet as desired. They're positioned at the bottom in the pdo, but you could always place them in Jumpluff's iconic hopping/floating position to give it a loftier look.

MEGA RAYQUAZA

384 / MEGA RAYQUAZA- Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Mega Rayquaza
Type: Dragon/Flying
Species: Sky High Pokémon
Height: 10.8 m (35′05″)
Weight: 392.0 kg (864.2 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: In Hoopa and the Clash of Ages, a Shiny Rayquaza capable of Mega Evolving was summoned alongside Latios and Latias by Hoopa to protect it from the shadow Hoopa Unbound. The trio protected Hoopa from the shadow Hoopa and its reinforcements, Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, and Kyurem, in Dahara City. Eventually, the battle ended after the shadow Hoopa was sealed in a Prison Bottle, and Rayquaza departed for its home.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 24.9 cm / 9.8 in
Width: 16.1 cm / 6.3 in
Depth: 31.5 cm / 12.4 in (due to various long ribbons)
Pages: 9, +2 for instructions/reference
Pieces: 128
Level: Hard
Designer: Brandon
Photo: Feel free to submit your own at our email and we'll display the best/most creative!
This one was sent in by Lance via our email!
NOTES: Various instructions included on template, along with numbers. Definitely follow the numbers and work your way from the head down. The body segments work exactly the same as our regular Rayquaza model (with a little more detail)- match up the number, and everything flows well together. The fins and 'ribbon' segments might be the most difficult part to connect just right, and using a reference (such as the Official Art picture on the last page of the model) to see how everything connects should help. Putting wire inside the 'ribbons' (the last few pages) can help with getting them to pose just right as well.  Definitely no need to print the last 2 pages, as those are all instructions and reference. Overall this is a fairly tough model, and you should take your time building it to get things just right, especially with the smaller parts. PDO reference, if possible, is extremely helpful.

NOTES: Start at the bottom of the body and close at the top of the head. Glue one feather at each side, starting at the front. The head can be rotated in any position you want, just glue the pieces above the ring composed of 14 and 15 in another position and follow with the rest of the pieces of the top of the head. The bowtie and the beak should be glued before the model is closed. Note that the bowtie doesn't rotate with the head. After building the feet, place them on a flat surface and apply glue to the body where they'll connect. If you want the model to stand like it's on the pdo and the pictures you'll need to place something bellow the tail to keep it still while the glue dries.

Width: 22.6 cm/ 8.9 in
Depth: 44.3 cm/ 17.4 in
Pages: 5
Pieces: 64
Level: Medium
Designer: PODragon
Photo: LuIS
NOTES: Start the model at the mouth and build the head around it. It's important to note that you'll want to glue the teeth BEFORE finishing the head. Also, paint the inside of the tabs of the teeth so they match the inside of the mouth. Now proceed to the body. Start the wings at the tips and build them down. Be careful with the claws, they can offer some trouble. Next is joining the wings to the body. Make sure here to reinforce where both connect, otherwise they'll fall, just glue some layers of scrap paper on the inside where they join. Next part is the legs, build them from the toes up, joining them to the body as soon as the numbers get to them. It's suggest that you insert a roll of scrap paper inside pieces 33 and 38 that goes to the bottom of the feet, in order to endure the weight. Close the model at the tip of the tail. There are some colors on the tabs to help fold and know where each part goes.

Name:
Gliscor
Type: Ground/Flying
Species: Fang Scorpion Pokémon
Height: 2.0 m (6'07")
Weight: 42.5 kg (93.7 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Gliscor is a large, mainly blue-purple vampire bat-like Pokémon. Its legs have two toes and a slightly darker circular coloration on the underside, and its tail has two barbs, giving its tail the resemblance of a vampire's fangs. Its ears have discernible, red, chambered ear insides, and its eyes are yellow. It has six visible fangs in its mouth, and its waist, like its arms, is red and striated. Gliscor's body resembles an open mouth, with the pointed protrusions coming from its upper torso resembling fangs, further illustrating its vampiric qualities.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 17.0 cm/6.7 in
Width: 15.6 cm/6.1 in
Depth: 21.0 cm/8.3 in
No. of Pages: 7
No. of Pieces: 39
Level: Medium-Hard
Designer: Brandon
Photo: LuIS

NOTES: Start by building the head, which apart from the ears is quite easy. Build each piece separately but don't join them all together now, only at the end. The body is simple, just closing it can be a bit harder than usual. You need to reinforce the inside of the arms to hold the claws. Join the wing to the part between the head and torso. After that, glue the torso and the head. Be careful with the position you glue the torso, use the pdo as reference. You can either glue the claws now or proceed to the tail. If you follow the numbers and glue the tail, use the numbers on the pieces as reference. It takes a good time to glue, so if you can use superglue, it gets easier. To join the last segment, place the model on a flat surface, using the semi last segment as a reference and glue the last one keeping the flat surface. Also, make sure to leave the last two segments open, to insert weight and balance it, jut add weight until it stands after the arms are placed. The claws should be joined to the "wrist" before joining it to the arms. Must fold lines are included on the pdo. Note that the model, even after balanced, can fall with wind.

It has a round, grayish head with large, black, pixelated eyes and a pair of skinny antenna. It can spread its scales to calm an opponent's fighting spirit, as shown in the anime. Its wings' pattern is affected by the climate in which it lives.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 28.7 cm/11.3 in
Width: 32.0 cm/ 12.6 in
Depth: 5.0 cm/2.0 in
No. of Pages: 5
No. of Pieces: 15
Level: Medium/Hard
Designer: Brandon
Photo: LuIS
NOTES: Start at the head and proceed to the body, both pretty simple to build. After the head is built, build the arms, legs and antennae, they're all tricky so take your time and use tweezers for the tabs. The antennae can be hard, specially when joining the top and the tubes.
The wings are pretty simple, glue the back to the front using a little bit of glue and glue small segments at a time to avoid wrinkles. Be sure to cut the wings curvy too, not exactly on the sharp edges.
Start joining at the parts together by gluing the head to the torso. After that the wings to the body (note that the wings must be curved in order to fit), use a good glue at this point and the pictures as a reference for the curvature and the place to glue. After the model is built, gluing the appendages to the body will be simple.

The textures for the wings can be changed (default is Meadow), but you'll need the pdo for that. Savannah form is pictured.

Height: 1.2 m (3'11")
Weight: 28.0 kg (61.7 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Pelipper is a pelican-like Pokémon with no discernible neck. Its head and bill make up the majority of its body. It has white feathers, a yellow underbelly, and a blue head crest. Its large wings have three digits and blue wing tips. It has small, blue webbed feet, a short tail, and eyes that are made of two black semi-circles. It has a large bill and a throat pouch that it uses to carry small Pokémon and eggs and scoop food from the sea. It searches for food by skimming across the wave tops. After scooping the food, Pelipper swallows it in one big gulp. It builds its nest on steep cliffs facing the sea.

NOTES: Start at the top of the head and close at the tip of the tail. Be sure to build the entire mouth before gluing it to the face. The wings are the only hard part, but as long as you fold the lines indicated in red it will build fairly simply. When gluing the feet, place the left wing on a flat surface and glue the feet on the same level so it stands better. You can use magnets to hold the bill instead of gluing it (to make it into a storage container of sorts), just place one inside the bill before closing and glue one to the place where it connects to the body.
