MEGA-GLALIE

362 / MEGA GLALIE - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Mega Glalie
Type: Ice
Species: Face Pokémon
Height: 2.1 m (6′11″)
Weight: 350.2 kg (772.1 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Mega Glalie's jaw is dislocated because of the overwhelming energy, causing its mouth to extend to the length of its face. The lower jaw is all black except for two light-blue, conical, icy spikes. The pupils in Mega Glalie's eyes are now red instead of black. The horns on top Mega Glalie's head have been partially turned into ice, with the addition of a third horn on its forehead.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 16.5 cm / 6.5 in
Width: 14.3 cm / 5.6 in
Depth: 15.5 cm / 6.1 in
Pages: 11
Pieces: 65 (Lots of spikes)
Level: Medium
Designer: Brandon
Photo: CrafterWong
Chibi Mega Glalie pictured can also be found here!
NOTES: Build the top of the head first. Then build the inner and upper part of the mouth as well as the tongue and piece 20 before working outward. Attach the mouth to the head once the two sections  are built. Next, build the rest of the outer part of the mouth besides piece 26. Glue all the exterior pieces to the model. Once everything is attached, glue piece 26 to the mouth at the bottom, closing the model. Pay close attention to spikes 31, 32, and 35 that go on top of piece 26 as these spikes create a tripod allowing the model to stand by itself. Besides that, I hope you enjoy building.

MEGA BLASTOISE

009 / MEGA BLASTOISE- Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Mega Blastoise
Type: Water
Species: Shellfish Pokémon
Height: 1.6 m (5′03″)
Weight: 101.1 kg (222.9 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: As Mega Blastoise, it develops two smaller shells over its arms, each with their own water cannon. The two cannons on its back are replaced by a single, central water cannon of greater size that can retract into its shell. This cannon extends forward over Mega Blastoise's head and is said to have a blast range of over 6 miles (10 kilometers). Small ridges develop over its now-red eyes and extend to its ears. The ears angle slightly backward and there is a small point on its chin.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 18.0 cm / 7.1 in
Width: 16.4 cm / 6.5 in
Depth: 16.6 cm / 6.5 in
Pages: 7
Pieces: 72

NOTES: Start with the head and build the front first, working your way down to the arms, legs, and tail. From there, start to work your way back - build the ridge of the shell, then work into the back of the shell. You'll want to close the model on the back of the shell, using the top flaps of piece 69 to fully close after securing it onto the back.

MEGA RAYQUAZA

384 / MEGA RAYQUAZA- Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Mega Rayquaza
Type: Dragon/Flying
Species: Sky High Pokémon
Height: 10.8 m (35′05″)
Weight: 392.0 kg (864.2 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: In Hoopa and the Clash of Ages, a Shiny Rayquaza capable of Mega Evolving was summoned alongside Latios and Latias by Hoopa to protect it from the shadow Hoopa Unbound. The trio protected Hoopa from the shadow Hoopa and its reinforcements, Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, and Kyurem, in Dahara City. Eventually, the battle ended after the shadow Hoopa was sealed in a Prison Bottle, and Rayquaza departed for its home.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 24.9 cm / 9.8 in
Width: 16.1 cm / 6.3 in
Depth: 31.5 cm / 12.4 in (due to various long ribbons)
Pages: 9, +2 for instructions/reference
Pieces: 128
Level: Hard
Designer: Brandon
Photo: Feel free to submit your own at our email and we'll display the best/most creative!
This one was sent in by Lance via our email!
NOTES: Various instructions included on template, along with numbers. Definitely follow the numbers and work your way from the head down. The body segments work exactly the same as our regular Rayquaza model (with a little more detail)- match up the number, and everything flows well together. The fins and 'ribbon' segments might be the most difficult part to connect just right, and using a reference (such as the Official Art picture on the last page of the model) to see how everything connects should help. Putting wire inside the 'ribbons' (the last few pages) can help with getting them to pose just right as well.  Definitely no need to print the last 2 pages, as those are all instructions and reference. Overall this is a fairly tough model, and you should take your time building it to get things just right, especially with the smaller parts. PDO reference, if possible, is extremely helpful.

MEGA SLOWBRO - MERRY CHRISTMAS!

080 / MEGA SLOWBRO - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Mega Slowbro
Type: Water/Psychic
Species: Hermit Crab Pokémon
Height: 2.0 m (6′07″)
Weight: 120.0 kg (264.6 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Upon mega evolving, it becomes engulfed by the Shellder to the point where only its head, arms and tail are visible. Due to the legs being engulfed inside the shell, it balances the body by the tail that sticks out at the opening at the tip of Shellder's spiral. It can move by bouncing, using the tail as a spring. Mega Slowbro's energy has gathered into Shellder, which has increased its hardness. This allows it to act as an armor so hard that nothing can scratch it.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 20.6 cm / 8.1 in
Width: 13.1 cm / 5.1 in
Depth: 13.9 cm / 5.5 in
Pages: 8
Pieces: 53 + 6 for optional base
Level: Medium
Designer: LuIS
Photo: LuIS
NOTES: Start with the ears, building the head around 3. Close and glue it to the shell when indicated, but only glue the shell teeth AFTER the head is glued. The rest of the model is pretty simple, build following the numbers and glue the details, such as arms and spikes, when the numbers get to them. Close at the bottom and glue the tail to it. I suggest using some sort of small weight inside the tail to give it more stability. Place the set of 58 and 59 inside the base before closing it, to make it sturdier.

MEGA GALLADE

475 / MEGA GALLADE - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Mega Gallade
Type: Fighting/Psychic
Species: Blade Pokémon
Height: 1.6 m (5′03″)
Weight: 56.4 kg (124.3 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: When Gallade mega evolves, it gets red plates on its arms, and the helmet and cape-like protrusions on its head and back give it a knightly appearance. If the situation demands, it can use its psychic power to reshape both arms into blades, and fight using a dual-wielding style. Its upper body becomes white, and the spikes on its head elongate.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 22.0 cm / 8.6 in
Width: 21.8 cm / 8.5 in
Depth: 15.2 cm / 5.9 in
Pages: 6
Pieces: 67
Level: Medium-Hard
Designer: LuIS
Photo: LuIS
NOTES: Start by building the head, make sure to follow the numbers, it's the best way to build it. After the head is built, slide the head details by the side and glue the bigger one by the tips and the smaller ones on the side. The head and the body are separated, so put the head aside and proceed to the body. Start at the neck , build the arms and reinforce them inside. Now proceed to the cape, it's the hardest thing on the model and there's a small trick. First you'll build the white parts and glue them to the red piece that goes in between, than you'll glue the green, leaving the tabs of the green parts to connect to the body and reinforce the inside. I would still recommend you reinforce a bit more than just this tab. Close the body at the bottom. For the "hands" first build the red part and build the white ones around it. The connection is the same for the small and the big details. The legs are the last part. Start them at the bottom and build up. Make sure to reinforce them too. Gluing them will take a lot of patience, refer to the .pdo for reference, hold them in place while they dry. I didn't need any weight to make it stand, but it tilts a bit if a strong wind hits, so you may wanna put some weight inside the legs. Further instructions on the template.

Type: Fire/Flying
Species: Flame Pokémon
Height: 1.7 m (5′07″)
Weight: 100.5 kg (221.6 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Upon mega evolving, Charizard Y becomes more sleeky and expansive. While it keeps the type and coloration of Charizard, the pupils are white, three pointed horns on the top of the head, the neck is shorter and the hands much smaller, but with a larger torso and legs. It develops small wings on the wrists, while the ones on he back become larger and have ragged edges. It has three thornes and a much larger flame than regular Charizard. It is said to have incredible flying prowess, reching incredible heights.

Name: Mega Gengar
Type: Ghost/Poison
Species: Shadow Pokémon
Height: 1.4 m (4′07″)
Weight: 40.5 kg (89.3 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: When Gengar mega evolves a part of its body sinks into the body. It gets a reddish purple color on the lower portions and a third eye appears on the forehead, which is yellow and allows it to see into other dimensions. The spikes on the back get more numerous and pointy, they also appear on the hands and tail. Mega Gengar has the highest base Special Attack stat of any Poison and Ghost Pokémon. It also has the highest base Speed stat of all Ghost Pokémon and the highest base stat total of all non-legendary Ghost Pokémon.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 15.0 cm / 5.9 in
Width: 22.7 cm / 8.9 in
Depth: 19.7 cm / 7.7 in
Pages: 6
Pieces: 86
Level: Medium-Hard
Designer: LuIS
Photo: LuIS
NOTES: Start the model at the spikes at the top of the forehead. Make sure to add the detail at the forehead and the spikes when the numbers get to them. The spikes are repetitive, but easy to build. I also added some reference pictures on the download pack to help glue them on the right place. Close the model at the bottom of the body. The hands are the hard part of the model, take your time with them, follow the numbers and the instructions and you'll be fine. Start them at the middle and build the spikes around it, there are some colored tabs and suggested fold lines on the .pdo to help. Close them at the bottom and glue to the arms. Further instructions added on the template.

Two spikes with blue tips curve upward from the front and back of each shoulder, while the tips of its horns sharpen, turn blue, and curve slightly upward. Its brow and claws are larger, its snout is shorter, and its eyes are now red with white pupils. It has two small, fin-like spikes under each horn and two more down its lower neck. The lower trims of its wings are divided into large, rounded points and each third joint is adorned with a claw-like spike. Its upper wings split in two with black trim along the top, and the bottom wings become smaller. Its drills become longer and larger, resembling javelins. Its legs are no longer insectoid, and instead resemble its arms in shape. Its abdomen becomes larger and grooved, and is attached to its thorax by a black structure. Its main stinger is now a pale yellow, and black stripes appear on on its abdomen, chest, and leg stingers. The poison that Mega Beedrill produces from its four limbs all work instantaneously, yet the poison it emits from its tail is slow-acting. It uses the former to prevent its foes from fleeing, and the latter to deal the finishing blow.

MEGA SABLEYE

302 / MEGA SABLEYE - Pokémon Papercraft

Name: Sableye (Mega)
Type: Dark/Ghost
Species: Darkness Pokémon
Height: 0.5 m (1'08")
Weight: 11.0 kg (24.3 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: As Mega Sableye, all the energy from its Mega Evolution is concentrated into the red jewel on its chest, causing it to detach from Sableye's body and significantly increase in size; the detached jewel leaves a small hole in Mega Sableye's chest. Its ears elongate, and it gains a spike on the top of its head. Its teeth turn from white to yellow, and its eyes also change from pale blue to a crimson red, with diagonal slits at their inner edges. The enlarged jewel is said to boast such incredible hardness that no attack can even leave a scratch on it. During battle, Mega Sableye shelters itself behind the jewel, from where it can take advantage of any openings its target leaves exposed.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 19.0 cm / 7.48 in
Width: 17.6 cm / 6.93 in
Depth: 15.4 cm / x.x in
Pages: 5
Pieces: 58
Level: Medium
Designer: Olber
Photo: Olber
NOTES: This model is pretty simple to build. Just refer to pdo file to get more orientation. Start at the main spike on its head, then the ears. Build the head top making your way down; attach the ears in the progress. Fold the jewel pieces in order to get well shaped jewels. Glue them before you attach the legs. By the way, you got to attach the legs before closing the model at the "close here" piece. To get the giant jewel sticked to Sableye, use a drop of glue in the rigth arm first finger. Laying the model face up may be useful, in order you let the glue dry. When it's full dried, make it stand and place it correctly.

NOTES: Start at the head and build by numbers until you get to the tail, glue the arms (using the base as a tool to glue them on the right position) and only after close. It's important to note that the arms are very heavy and the tube that holds them to the body is very small, so it may collapse if not reinforced with a tube of rolled paper inserted inside. The is not as hard as it seems, take your time, join one at a time to the hand and you'll be fine. The medium-hard for Mega Latias is due to the hands, the pieces get small, and a bit harder to build, but besides that shouldn't be too hard. Further instructions included on the template.

Base, Soul Dew, and Mega Stones included, as well as eye textures for Latias. The only difference for Latias is eye, and size.

MEGA HOUNDOOM (Happy Halloween!)

229 / M Houndoom - Pokémon Papercraft
Name:
M Houndoom
Type: Dark/Fire
Species:  Dark Pokémon
Height: 1.9 m (6'03")
Weight: 49.5 kg (109.1 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: As Mega Houndoom, the ridges on its back thicken, and it gains additional, bone-like rings around the base of its tail. The rings on its tail have small spikes on top, causing them to resemble vertebrae. The ridge at the base of Mega Houndoom's neck is longer and curves forward towards its shoulders. Instead of a band with a skull pendant, there is a large, toothed structure around its neck. This bone-like formation has two large spikes on either side and three pointed teeth on the bottom. Mega Houndoom's horns now point straight up with a small, outward curve in the middle. The two bands on its hind legs have vanished, and those on its forelegs are broken in the front. Its claws are a dark red due to its ability to generate more heat. Finally, the tip of its tail is now split down the middle.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 23.3 cm/9.2 in
Width: 11.3 cm/4.4 in
Depth: 20.5 cm/8.1 in
No. of Pages: 6
No. of Pieces: 87
Level: Hard
Designer: LuIS
Photo: LuIS

NOTES: Start at the mouth and glue the horns as you go. The next step is building the legs, build them from the paws up and glue the nails as you go. The leg bones may not need to be glued, place them and check if they stand. The hardest part of the model is building the bones. The neck one is by far the hardest. Start at the collar and build around it, join the bottom of it and close at the middle, by the back. Glue it only AFTER the bigger back bone is glued. You might have to apply some pressure to the neck collar, to give it the perfect shape. The back bones are hard to close only if you do it at the end, the trick is to build it by segments, I mean, close them while you're still building the top part. Join them to the body as soon as the numbers get to them. Make sure to glue the first piece of each of the rear legs BEFORE gluing the last back bone. I suggest placing the tail bones before building the legs. When you glue the tail doesn't matter, in fact, it may be even better to be glued at the end. Close the model at the rear paws and glue the nails after.

MEGA BLAZIKEN

257 / M-BLAZIKEN - Pokémon Papercraft
Name:
 Mega Blaziken
Type: Fire/Fighting
Species: Blaze Pokémon
Height: 1.905 m (6'03")
Weight: 52.1 kg (114.6 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: As Mega Blaziken, it loses its yellow markings, and gains black markings on its upper legs and chest. Its hair like feathers take on a wing-like shape and point upward, and the portion around its chest is rough around its shoulders. The crest on its head changes into a flat horn that curves backward. The fire it creates on its wrists is now longer, as well.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 19.8 cm/7.8 in
Width: 15.8 cm/ 6.2 in
Depth: 11.1 cm/4.4 in
No. of Pages: 3
No. of Pieces: 74
Level: Medium-Hard
Designer: Brandon
Photo: LuIS
NOTES: The model starts at the belly and at the hair. Start at the legs, but close only the standing one now. Make sure to follow the instructions of when to glue each detail, specialy at the top with the arms and some fur. Close the torso at the bottom of it and glue to the legs. Make sure to reinforce the standing leg with some scrap paper glued into it. The model will need some weight to stand, so keep one leg open and only AFTER the ENTIRE model is glued together, put weight inside so it stands properly, close the leg after it's balanced and glue the details to it. There's a base with it, it should prevent the leg fur from beeing damaged from the weight. Numbers and further instructions included on the template.

MEGA VENUSAUR

003-M / Mega Venusaur - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: M-Venusaur
Type: Grass/Poison
Species: Seed Pokémon
Height: 2.4 m (7'10")
Weight: 155.5 kg (342.8 lbs)
Interesting Facts: As Mega Venusaur, the flower on its back grows larger and two new, pink flowers bloom, one on its forehead and one on its rear. Additional leaves with woody stems are grown around the flower that are supported by vines that grow from the base of the flower. Mega Venusaur also develops darker patches of color on its forehead below the new bloom. Its legs and frame also become more sturdy to support the weight of the flower.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 17.3 cm/ 6.8 in
Width: 19.9 cm/ 7.8 in
Depth: 26.1 cm/ 10.3 in
No. of Pages: 10
Level: Easy/Medium
Designer: Brandon
Photo: LuIS
NOTES:  The model isn't hard, it only has a lot of details to glue. Start at the mouth and build by numbers to the back legs, where you'll close. There's a time to glue each detail, it's indicated by number. It's really important to reinforce the inside of the body, where the tree connects with the body. Further instructions on the template. Be sure to print pages labelled 9 and 11 on the backs of pages 8 and 10 respectively. These are to ensure that white does not show on the under side of the leaves. The shiny front/back flowers will be double sided yellow and pink, but this isn't a problem if you trim back the parts.

MEGA LUCARIO

448-M / Mega Lucario - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: M-Lucario
Type: Fighting/Steel
Species: Aura Pokémon
Height: 1.3 m (4'03")
Weight: 57.5 kg (126.8 lbs)
Interesting Facts: As Mega Lucario, its cream fur becomes longer, and its thighs slim down. It develops more spikes on the back of its paws, of which have turned crimson. Its aura-sensing appendages grow longer, and two of them are tipped in crimson. Its shoulders also possess a spike each. Its aura heightens throughout its body, which formed black markings on its blue fur.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 30.2 cm/ 11.9 in
Width: 17.3 cm/ 6.8 in
Depth: 17.6 cm/ 6.9 in
No. of Pages: 7
Level: Hard
Designer: Brandon
Photo: LuIS
NOTES:  This model has two main start points: the ears and the spike that goes inside the chest. The head is closed at the spike at the bottom and the body is closed at the bottom of the toes. There is a time to glue everything to it, in a way that the parts won't stay in the way while building, the order indicated by the numbers provides this. Also, there are a lot of lines to be folded on this one, they are indicated by red lines on the pdo, fold them smoothly. The hardest part is the neck fur, take your time there; fold the lines, follow the instructions and the numbers and it will build pretty well. Plenty more info included on the template, along with colored tabs to guide your build, but the use of the pdo is still indicated.
